She turned around, opened her screen, and pulled out a small, black box.

Lapis Lazuli: P-Peridot, What is going on?

Peridot turned back around to face Lapis, and held the box in her hand.

Peridot: Lapis...

Lapis Lazuli: Peridot, Wh-whats going on!!!??

Peridot: I-It's an Earth thing I learned about...

Peridot held out her empty hand.

As Lapis took ahold of it, Peridot got down on her left knee.

Lapis covered her mouth.

Lapis Lazuli: Peri....

Peridot: Lapis... I never thought I would find anyone. Especially you.

Lapis Lazuli: Peridot, oh my diamond....

Tears formed in both Peridot and Lapis' eyes.

Peridot: B-But I'm glad I did... And I hope you feel the same way...

Lapis closed her eyes and nodded, tears falling down to the tip of her chin.

Peridot took her hand from behind her back and showed Lapis the box.

Lapis Lazuli: Oh my... diamond... Peridot...!!!!

Peridot opened the box, revealing a diamond encrusted, white-gold ring with two oval-shape cut peridot gems, and a rounded oval lapis lazuli gem.

Lapis Lazuli: Peridot.... It's beautiful...

Peridot took Lapis' hand.

Peridot: Please Lapis... Will you m-marry me....? I don't know if it will be tomorrow... or next month... maybe even a year.... But I will wait.. I will wait for you and only you.

Lapis Lazuli: ......Y-Yes.... Yes! Of course!

Tears were streaming down their faces.

Peridot slid the ring onto Lapis' soft hand.

Lapis hugged Peridot, as Peridot spinned her around off of her feet.

They were crying, smiling, laughing, and hugging full of joy.

Peridot set her down.

Peridot: I love you...

Lapis Lazuli: I do too..!

Lapis grabbed Peridot's neck and kissed her tightly.

They let go and hugged.

Lapis Lazuli: I.. I never thought anyone would love me this much... especially enough to propose!

Peridot: Well... I never thought I would love someone... or have someone love me.... or propose to them!

Lapis Lazuli: What will the gems think...?

Peridot: If they hate it.... Thats their problem.

Peridot picked Lapis up bridal style.

When they turned the corner, the gems, including Steven, were sitting there, shocked.
