For the past two days, I could not stop thinking about that moment Zac & I had.

Why did I let myself go like that?! Now he is going to think I'm one of those easy girls. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

We have been texting a lot though, told me he's feeling much better after that list I gave him. Even missed work so he could focus on getting better. Honestly if that was me, I'd never miss work. I love getting income & love my job way too much. Hardheaded I know. And don't care.

"LEA!" Sasha snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Damn, what?!" I turn to her jumping.
"What on Earth is on your mind?"

She was looking at me as if I was a stranger while she was filing papers. I start to check on my patient Allison Yein's paperwork. I open my mouth about to tell her what happened that day I went to Zac's house but instead something else leaves my mouth.

"Do you think I'm too easy once I get to know someone?" I ask weirdly.
"Pfft! As if!" She starts to laugh.
"Mm, I thought so." I answer back quietly.
She looks back & stops laughing immediately. "Lea, what's wrong?" Great. Now I made her worry.
"Nothing really.."
"Seriously, tell me."
"Let's say something happened between Zac & I, but now I'm starting to feel bad about it."

She leaned over the counter looking down both hallways before speaking again.

"You guys had sex?.."
"No! It was just something. But now I feel like he will think I'm 'too easy' you know."
"Ahh, I see now.." She closes her eyes nodding. "Y'all just messed around a bit."
"Y-yeah.." I answer nervously.
"I don't think so. Plus I doubt he would think you're easy." She was now smiling softly.
I smile back. "What makes you think that?"
"Judging from when you first met him, the encounters, yeah right."
"You got a point there." I laugh.
"Don't worry so much, you're good."
"Thanks."

Even though she's a pain in my ass, she is my pain for my ass. I love Sasha. Always cheering me up.

"Yo Grant, you're needed in room 12."

This new guy started working here in my department yesterday. His name is Arthur. And I have no idea why he is so comfortable with me & Sasha. It's weird in a friendly way. But he doesn't make me feel uncomfortable so I don't really mind.

"Alright, thank you!" I call out to him. I turn back to Sasha who is now sitting down behind the desk. "Gotta run."
"Okay, I'll see you at home."
Confused I asked, "What?"
She rolls her eyes smiling, "See thinking about him makes you forget & loose focus. I leave early today, in 10 minutes."
"Not true," I quickly stated. "But okay then. Later."

She waves smiling as I take off. I knock on the door of room 12.

"Hello? Allison?" I walk in slowly looking around. Where is she?
"In here," she replied coming from the bathroom.

I go by the bathroom door knocking, "Are you okay in there?"
"Yeah, I just needed someone here. Don't like to be all lonely." She said slowly.
Sweet girl. "Alright then," I started off, "who will be coming to get you today?"
"My uncle." She cheered up a bit mentioning him.
"He sounds pretty awesome Allison."
"Only sometimes," her toned decreased. "I make sure I don't make him unhappy."

Whoa. Wait. What does she mean?

She flushes & comes out the bathroom looking like she just finished puking.

"Are you feeling well?" I asked alerted feeling her forehead & doing a mini checkup on her.
"I'm alright, just ate something bad." For a 13 year old, she's pretty smart. "Ginger ale please?"
"Of course," I called Arthur from the door to get her one. "Hey Allison, can I ask you something?"
"Yes you may." She stated looking down.
"What does your uncle do when he is unhappy?" I ask softly sitting besides her on the bed.
