It's already late, but he's still at the university's gym, waiting for her to finish her cheerleading practice. Even if he needs to head home early, to finish his thesis.

And finally they're done, before she got to him a guy called her , and how that guy's hand touched her waist a minute longer and she'd just let that guy, finally heaving a sigh as she bid her goodbye to them

"Deej" her sweet voice calms her insides, enveloping her in a hug as she got near, being this close to her is enough for him, the little things that matter

"hey what's with the hug are you alright?" her brown eyes scrutinizing him, as if she can see his soul

"yes why wouldn't I be?"

"are you sure?" not quite convinced by him

"yes , it's quite late , let's get you home" wrapping his arms around her

When they got on his car, he got noticed that she's staring at him

"hey what's with the stare?"

"nothing"

"oh really? or are you falling in love with me already" teasing her

"you wish, just drive already"

They decided to take out some foods and go to their secret place, finding this place was accidental, one day when they tried driving around with no certain place to go, he would park his car then they would lay down on the car's hood while gazing at the sky and talking about random things, but tonight was different there was silence between them

Half an hour has passed when he spoke up

"what would you do if I suddenly leave?" she stood up then, looking at him suddenly alarmed

"why are you leaving me?"

"no I just" struggling to say what's on his mind "I just want to know what you'll feel or do if that happens"

"why would you ask something like this?" her eyes misting

"hey I'm sorry forget about it"

"don't ask things like that again alright" he nodded, hugging her then

They stayed for a few minutes more, afterwards they're on their way home

"but if you leave I'll hate you" she said suddenly

When they arrived at her house she was fast asleep, carrying her inside up to her room

"I'll stay by your side as long as I can" whispering to her

They agreed to meet at their favorite cafe later that day. He arrived earlier, when he saw her entering the cafe he instantly stands up and welcomed her with a hug

"you miss that much huh Deej" he just pinched her nose

"how bout you didn't you miss me?"

"why would I miss you" teasing him in return

"you're just too shy to admit"

"whatever just order already I'm hungry"

They talked and catched up on each other's life, all in all it was a good night, they're outside of the cafe now

"so let's go? I'll drive you home"

"ah no Deej someone's gonna fetche me"
