When Scott's aunt Julie and Uncle Philip got home we introduced ourselves and briefly explain who I am, leaving out the werewolf/shifter part.

"I don't think they liked me." I state after they go to put Libby to bed.

I am sitting on one of the chairs in the living room, with my legs pulled up to my chest and I bury my head in my hands.

"They don't know you yet. Give it a little time." Scott says sitting next to Stiles on the couch next to my chair.

"This was a bad idea. They probably think I'm not even related to Libby."

"Kallee, they don't know what to think of you yet. There is nothing for you to worry about. Once they get to know you, they will love you." Stiles says, but I'm not so sure.

I must haven given them a skeptical look, because Scott leans forward and starts to talk, "Listen, Kallee, there is nothing for you to worry about. Even if they aren't sure about you yet my mom and I will make sure that nothing will happen to separate the two of you again."

"Don't make promises that you can't keep." I say, just as Julie and Philip walk back in, Melissa following a few steps behind.

I put my feet on the floor and sit up strait. Melissa sits down on the couch and Julie and Philip sit in chairs across from me.

I try to swallow the lump in my throat and brace myself for what I know will happen next. I already know they don't want me to stay. You don't want to stay anyways Kallee. You are better off watching from a distance. That way Libby will never have to know what really happened to our dad.

"Listen, Kallee," Philip starts," we really want Libby to know her sister. It's just we don't think the two of you should be alone together yet. Just as a precaution." I'm slightly shocked that they don't want to kick me out.

Julie reaches out to grab her husband's, "It's not that we don't trust you with Libby. It's just that we didn't think Libby had any living relatives, let alone a sister. We just need to get to know you first."

"Libby never talked about having a sister?" I ask feeling slightly disappointed.

"Well she did, we thought she, I mean you, were just imaginary. Her way of giving herself a family." Julie replies with an embarrassed smile.

"Oh. So when you adopted her, did they tell you why she was an orphan?" I ask, nervously twisting my hands in my lap.

"Just that both your parents died. They didn't really give us many details. Mostly because I don't think they had all the information. Apparently a few months before we found Libby some kid had gone into their file room and burned some of the documents in a few of the files." Philip says, shaking his head slightly. Whether it was because he wished he new Libby's story or he thought they shouldn't have let someone into the file room, I'm not sure.

I don't blame the workers there for letting it happen, I'm actually thankful they were so lax when it came to security. Why you may ask? Well because that 'someone' was me. I hadn't wanted Libby to have our fathers mistakes mar the rest of her life. So I snuck in one night and chose some of the more... Rebellious girls and a couple of the sweeter girls to burn the files of, none of the really important files though, as well as Libby's and my files without them suspecting Libby or myself. I figured that way they would just think it was some angry teen trying to cause trouble, not someone trying to hide something.

It worked because they never figured out it was me and nobody got in trouble.

"Well we are going to turn in. Goodnight Melissa, Kallee, boys." Julie said, bringing me back to the present.

"Just one more question. Did. Did Libby ever tell you. What happened to our parents I mean?" I ask.

"Just that there was a wreak. Goodnight Kallee." Philip says before giving me a confused look and then he and Julie go to their room.

"Well. I'm going to bed as well." Melissa says shortly after. She lays her hand on my shoulder before leaving, "Don't worry about them. My sister has never really trusted strangers. I didn't expect her to change now."

"Thank you." I say, looking down at my hands.

We are quiet for a little while, long enough that all the lights are out in everyone's rooms.

"Told you everything would be fine." Stiles says with a goofy smile that makes me chuckle slightly. I don't remember the last time anyone made me chuckle or even smile for that matter.

"Thank you guys. I really appreciate you letting me stay here for awhile." I say.

"No problem. We are glad Libby has her sister back." Scott says, leaning his elbows in his knees.

"Well I am gonna go to bed. Goodnight." I say. Then I leave the room. I stand just out of sight and listen as Scott and Stiles talk.

They are quite for a moment and just when I think they aren't going to talk I hear a phone ring. "Hey, dad." Stiles answers the after a moment he says goodnight to his dad. "Dad is working late tonight. Mind if I crash in your room?" Stiles asks.

"Sure. Go on up. I'm just going to grab some blankets from the closet." Scott replies.

I scurry into my designated room so Stiles doesn't catch me eves dropping. I close the door and don't even bother getting under the cover before I start to fall asleep.
