Running From The Careers

"Come on let's get her!" I hear Marvel yell.

"No!" Yells Cato.

A hear a weird sound coming my way.

But I don't stop running I keep going. But then a feel a sharp pain go straight through my hand.

I look down and see a knife through my right hand.

It's bleeding badly and I start feeling dizzy but keep running.

My mouth is dry. It feels like sand paper. I need water.

But I still also hear the careers behind me. Running. Laughing.

But then I stop in my tracks.

Why?

Because as I look I see I have come to a dead end.

Now all there is, is a huge cliff. That goes straight down to a stream with rocks surrounding it.

I look back.

I can now see the careers.

I have two choices.

Take my chance with the cliff.

Or fight the careers with my bad hand.

I look at the careers. Their about 50 feet or more.

It's time for my choice.

I jump off the cliff.

I see the rocks getting closer. This is what the games are, cruel and mean.

I land on my knees and I feel pain in my knees now too.

I shake my head as I stand up. Im completely dizzy now.

I'm dehydrated, injured very badly, and I'm scared.

I look up or try too and see the careers just coming to the edge.

I run to the side of the cliff and see a rock.

I move it and jump inside this little cave by this stream and put the rock back. Hoping that I might be finally safe.

But as I turn around, I feel the dizziness overcome me.

I know now that if I don't have no allies, I don't know how I'm gonna stop the bleeding.

But as the dizziness overcomes me, I see brown curly hair.
