Luke tapped his finger impatiently on the armrest of the chair he was sitting on. Naomi had been inside the dressing room for ages and the blond was starting to get worried. The last time they went looking for wedding dresses, it was a total disaster. Naomi had a hard time liking the way her curvy figure looked in the tight fitting dresses, which resulted in her confidence falling from a 9 to a 3 in a matter of seconds. Luke hated seeing her like that, he hated the disappointed look on her face whenever she walked out and looked at herself in the full length mirror. He wished he could just wipe that look right off her face and replace it with her award winning smile.

Luke heard the squeaking of the dressing room door, meaning the soon-to-be bride was about to come out, and Luke couldn't help but feel his stomach churn in excitement and anticipation. He could hear the sound of the long dress brushing across the carpeted floor of the store, and that only made Luke squirm in his seat in an attempt to sneak a peek. Seconds felt like hours before Luke say the familiar blonde hair, tied up in a bun. He couldn't help but notice the large smile on his friend's face, which automatically made him smile wider. Just the look on her face was enough to convince Luke that she had found the dress, and that no matter how she looked in it, she felt good in it. He watched as she turned around, looking at her own reflection.

"Holy shit." She squealed, covering her mouth with her hands as she smiled widely.

"Holy shit is correct!" Luke exclaimed as he stood up. "Naomi, you look absolutely gorgeous."

Luke analysed the mermaid tail dress thoroughly. It suited Naomi in a way Luke couldn't even describe, it was like the dress had been made especially for her. A single strap, covered in shiny beads crossed her right shoulder, outlining her under boob before following the hem of the low-cut back. The dress was tightly, but it outlined Naomi's wide hips perfectly, making her look sexier than usual. Her bum looked firm and perky, her waist looked slim and her boobs were not pooling out of the dress, but showed enough cleavage. Everything looked perfect and at that moment, Luke knew the search had been worth the stress. He could see Naomi's eyes begin to water as the shop assistant spoke, but neither of them seemed to pay attention.

"Don't cry!" Luke chuckled lightly, placing his hand gently on Naomi's arm as he smiled at her. She looked back at her reflection, shaking her head.

"You can see my granddad's name." She croaked, pointing to the tattoo just above her left breast. The name 'John' was written in a simply, cursive handwriting, and just by the way Naomi looked fondly at it, Luke knew that meant a lot to her. "He always told me he wanted to see me get married."

Luke didn't hesitate in pulling Naomi in for a hug, holding her tightly as he rocked them from side to side softly. When Naomi eventually pulled away, there were tear stains on her cheeks, but a bright smile on her lips.

"I can't believe you're getting married." Luke shook his head with a small laugh. "This is starting to become to real."

"It'll be your turn soon enough." Naomi winked at her friend, looking down at her shining engagement ring before turning back to the shop assistant. "I'll take this one."

"Perfect." The shop assistant, who's name tag read 'Bella' nodded with a smile, gesturing with her head towards the dressing room. "Are there any adjustments you'd like to make or are you happy with the way it is right now?"

"I'm quite happy." Naomi nodded, looking back at Luke before walking to the dressing room. "I'll be just a second, Luke."

"Go ahead."

Luke took a seat again, sighing in relief as he did so. He couldn't believe how gorgeous Naomi looked in that dress, and how his dress would be chosen next. He was excited to see what he would wear, but at the same time, the biggest question in his mind was if Michael would be there to see it. More precisely, if Michael would even go with him. Could Luke even invite him? He shook his head, there were still months to go before the wedding and a lot could happen until then. If they were still in the same terms by the time the wedding rolled around, Luke would ask him to be his date. If not, hopefully Luke would have a boyfriend by then. He did, however, want Michael's approval of the dress, because if Michael thought he looked beautiful, then Luke felt beautiful.

Naomi came out minutes later, dressed once again in her pencil shirt and button down shirt she had worn to work. Taking the afternoon off was not only a good way to find the time to hunt for wedding dresses, but Luke now had an entire afternoon to sit in bed and watch Netflix. He liked his job, but an afternoon off sounded too appealing to turn down. He waited around as Naomi spoke to the shop assistant about some details that didn't concern the blond before the two of them were walking out of the shop with smiles on their faces. Luke frowned the moment his eyes landed on the black haired man standing outside of the shop with his hands stuffed in the pockets of his dress pants and a small smile on his face.

"Mr Clifford?" He asked, slightly confused. Naomi snorted lowly, only loud enough for Luke to hear and nudge her slightly. "What are you doing here?"

"Waiting for you." Michael shrugged as if that were a normal thing. He turned over to Naomi with a small etch of his eyebrows. "How's the dress hunting going, Naomi?"

"Perfect, Mr Clifford." The blond nodded. "Just found my dress, actually."

"Good." He mirrored her action, taking a small step towards Luke before gently placing his hand on the small of Luke's back. The blond instantly froze as Naomi's eyes darted down to Michael's arm, stopping herself from gasping. She had to admit, the two looked great standing together like that. "Do you mind if I steal Luke from you for the rest of the day?"

"I stole him from you, sir." She chuckled, causing the other two to tag along. "Go ahead, I have to get to my mother-in-law's anyways. Thank you for coming with me, Luke."

"No worries." The blond smiled widely, hugging her tightly before watching her walk away. He turned to Michael with a questioning look.

"When are you getting your dress?" Michael asked, clearly stalling Luke as to why he had come all the way there.

"Not sure yet." Luke shook his head. "Might need another day off for that."

"Don't think that because I'm into you that I'll be handing out free days just like that." Michael snorted, wrapping his arm around Luke's waist tightly before pulling the blond to his side. "Not even in exchange of those artworks you call naughty pictures."

Luke could feel his cheeks heat up at the mention of the pictures. He hadn't sent many, only a couple when Michael asked him for his favourites, but Luke had been planning to take some especially for his boss once he got his divorce. He liked seeing Michael's reaction to them. "Not even if they were even naughtier?"

"Are you trying to sell me out for nudes?" Michael chuckled, pulling Luke along with him as they walked down the slightly busy street. "Now that's naughty, Princess."

"Hardly." Luke shook his head. "Where are we going anyways?"

"We, my beautiful Princess, are going to get my eyebrow pierced."
