Once Ms. Jay has decided something, she doesn't go back.  That was something you learned that day.

It didn't matter how many times you explained that you can't possible pay off thousands of dollars in 3 months.  All she do was dismiss herself and the rest of the officers, and leave you stranded.

During the next few days, you were certain that your clock was related to a slug.  Both moved at an extremely slow pace.

You didn't go to school for the rest of the week.  There was still lots that needed to be dealt with; the dead body, the funeral, and the stress.  No time for school.

"There's no point in going to class if you're not going to be there," America had said.

The other seven nodded their heads in agreement. You told them that they shouldn't skip school just because you wouldn't be attending, but no one person can change the minds of eight so easily.

So, you hung out with your friends all day for the next week. On Wednesday your grandmas funeral took place. On Saturday, you and your group planned a meeting to discuss what you should do about the given situation. America hosted the meeting.

The arrival time was 12:00 p.m. and you got there at quarter past. Everyone had arrived before you-and I mean everyone.

China, Britain, France, America and Russia, Italy, Germany and Japan, that guy with the puffin along his group, Prussia, Spain, Poland, Greece, even that girl and her brother.

Nobody noticed as you walked inside and hung your coat on the rack.

"Ve obviously can't stay here," Prussia said.  "So, I think ve should all run away somewhere the police won't find us."

Britain snorted.  "Where would we possibly go, and how would we get there?"

"I did find this  really awesome boat while we were at the beach that one time."

"That makes perfect sense.  Just intrude onto somebody else's boat and drive it to a beautiful place where we will be safe forever."  Britain finished off the last of his tea.

"Let's hear some of jour ideas zhen."

How did they all find out about this?...

You cleared your throat.  "Hi."

"Oh hi (Y/N) what's up?!" America asks.

There's an empty spot on the couch never to him, which you take.

With a hushed voice, you ask, "How did they all find out?"

"Everyone on this Island knows what's happened.  You're all over the news!  I'm pretty sure they came here because they wanted an opportunity to skip school forever.  I mean, the police are going to be after you in three months.  You obviously can't stay here.  And I don't know why those two showed up."  America points at Lichtenstein and Switzerland.

The meeting has been going on for about  three hours. You've stayed silent though the most of it, spacing out and thinking about why this is happening to you.  How your grandma could have hidden that secret for so long, why the police are after you, and something else too...Ah, you'll think more about that later. Best you put some input into the discussion that's going on around you.

~{time skip to the end of the meeting}~

"Haha!  I told you that my idea vas zhe most awesome!"

Most people didn't agree with Prussia's plan of stealing a boat and traveling across the seas, but they didn't have any better ideas themselves.  Others thought their preposterous ideas were golden, and a few hated everyone's ideas and didn't even know why they were there.

The majority vote won.

Hope you don't get seasick!
