Maya flopped onto Riley's bed with a large sigh. "So you kissed?" She asked
"Yep." Maya answered
"And it was good?" Riley questioned
"Better than good it was um....really good." Maya said propping herself up

"So ask him out." Riley said pulling out her phone and sitting down at her bay window
"I can't do that." Maya said taking her friends phone and throwing it in the bed

"And why not?" Riley huffed as she grabbed her phone
"Because I just can't." Maya replied rolling her eyes
"But I thought you said the kiss was really good." She said scrolling through Instagram

"It was but isn't it a little cliché for the captain of the cheerleading team to date the star quarterback?" Maya scoffed

"So I'm dating Farkle and he is running back." Riley smiled flashing a picture of herself and her boyfriend
"Whatever we can be make out buddies or whatever but I'm not going to date date him." Maya informed

"Whatever you say." She rolled her eyes and stood
"I gotta go Farkle's here fill free and stay." Riley offered knowing about how Maya's mother and father are never here and are drug addicts.

"Thanks Riles." Maya smiled as her friend left
Maya sat up on her friends bed and sighed not knowing what to do when she got a text.

Maya:oh hi
Lucas: hi

A moment of silence lingered before Maya sent another text.

Maya: so what do u want Ranger Rick?
Lucas: well you gave me your number to text you to see if we ever wanted to hang out
Maya: yeah so?
Lucas: so wanna hang out

Maya thought for a moment she wasn't doing anything today but she didn't want anyone to know ,besides Riley, that she was 'dating' Hopalong.

Maya:fine but I pick the spot
Lucas:ok where
Maya:idk
Lucas: I think I know a place
Maya:where?
Lucas:meet me at the school in 10
Maya: ok?!?
Lucas: see ya then ;)
Maya: what's with the winky face :/
Lucas: to much?
Maya:to much!
Lucas: noted see u in 10

Maya sighed and started to prepare for her date.
