Maya Hart sat at the booth as the last person left the cafe. "Honey if you need a ride-" Mrs.Matthews started but she swiftly cut her off
"I'm fine I'm just waiting for someone." She said sadly looking down at her shoes.

"Ok honey well could you lock up for me?" Mrs.Matthews asked tossing her the keys and she left
For 30 more minuets she waited until her phone buzzed.

Farkle: how was it seeing Lucas
Maya: he never showed
Farkle: what the hell I'll kill him!
Maya: that's so sweet Farkle but he's not worth it
Farkle: I'm so sorry Maya
Maya: it's not your fault I'll talk to u later
Farkle: k

Just as Maya was about to leave Lucas rushed into the cafe. "Maya! Maya...," he paused to breath,"I'm here!" He said standing

Maya rolled her eyes. "No Maya let me explain why I'm late!" Lucas begged grabbing her hand as she started to leave she sighed as he sat her down on the chair
"Maya,Farkle dropped me off here right after school and I saw you sitting there thinking how beautiful you where. I thought about how awful I had acted and how much I love you. And how I never want to see you with anyone else." he paused getting down on one knee and pulling out a box

"Lucas-" she whispered but he placed a gentle finger on her lips silencing the blonde
"So I went to the jewelry store and spend hours trying to find the perfect ring for the perfect girl." He smiled as Maya did the same

"Maya Penelope Hart.." He trailed off nervous of what she might say next but she quickly interjected to lighten the mood
"Really huckleberry are going to go there when you're down on one knee with the ring in your hand?" She laughed

He laughed too and finished,"Maya Hart will...will you marry me?" He asked
It didn't take her but a moment to answer. "Yes!" And she placed the ring on her finger kissing him
