It was cold. Or at least, Nari thought it was. It wasn't as if she didn't have clothes warm enough, because hell, she did. It was just that she always kept on shivering, and eventually, Nari just gave up on wearing warm clothes; it didn't make much difference anyway.

While she sat there, buried in her own thoughts, she failed to notice the glances a certain boy gave her.

Jungkook kept on glancing her way, and then he looked at his backpack. The lesson hadn't started yet, and it was 'now or never', as Jungkook thought. So he took his friends, who had been engaged in an animated conversation, by surprise by suddenly standing up and he made his way over to the lonely girl, whose name he didn't know. I wouldn't be kidding if I said the whole class was looking at him with big eyes.

Jungkook gently tapped the girl's shoulder, and with a confused look in her eyes she craned her neck to look at Jungkook, who towered over her since she was sitting down and he was standing. (But really, even if Nari did stand up, Jungkook would still tower over her.)

Questioningly, Nari raised an eyebrow. It didn't happen every day that Jeon Jungkook took the trouble to talk to her, or to anyone who wasn't in his group of friends for that matter.
And all the while, she was still shivering.

Jungkook rummaged through his bag, until he finally found what he had been looking for. Out of his bag he took a big, soft-looking blanket, which Nari predicted to be incredibly warm and comfortable.

With an unreadable expression plastered on his face, he held out the blanket to a dumbfounded Nari. Her astonishment only grew when the faintest hue of pink swept across Jungkook's pale cheeks.

"Here, to keep you warm", he spoke.

To keep her warm? Had he noticed? Nari wanted to ask him, but the slightly bashful smile which had crept onto his face gave the answer away.

Feeling a bit confused, Nari was contemplating taking the blanket or not. It might've been a trick, who knew?

However, before she could even act, it seemed like Jungkook had changed his mind. He retraced his hands, and with it the blanket.

And then he did something totally unexpected.

He draped the blanket the blanket around Nari's fragile body, and then patted her head.

"Stay warm", was all he said, and then turned around to walk back to his friends, as if nothing had ever happened.

As if he hadn't just given Nari a blanket.

As if he hadn't just patted her head.

As if he hadn't just basically shown his concern for her.

Nari was in a daze, trying to process what just had happened.

She looked around the classroom, and saw that practically the whole class was looking at her. Some classmates were looking at her with amazement, some with confusion, and some with an ugly scowl on their face.

The students turned around when they heard the teacher clearing his throat, as a sign he wanted to begin with the lesson. Some last quick glances were thrown at her, before everyone settled down and adverted their eyes to their teacher.

Nari herself looked one last time at Jungkook, before snuggling into the blanket and starting to pay attention.
