Chapter 8: Little talks

"Hey Dark? Um...I don't know if you wanted to still come with us to school...but if you're going to you need to get ready" I said quickly before running out of the room. Dark grabbed my shoulder. He spun me around to see his burning glare. First it was of anger and loathing, then a broad grin spread across his face. It made my stomach turn to see him suddenly happy. The grip on my shoulder tightened and I inhaled sharply from pain

"Y/N let's have another talk. It's called 'Don't tell me what to do" Dark smirked pulling me back in

I shrugged his hand off my shoulder "Fuck off"

Dark growled and grabbed my shoulder again with his nails digging into my skin

"Sweetheart it'd be a shame if you didn't go to school today wouldn't it?" Dark asked "So let's do things my way"

"A-Anti!" I called before Dark covered my mouth

"Dark. Let her go" Anti appeared next to me almost instantly

Dark glared at Anti and let me go. I looked at the red marks on my shoulder leftover from Dark

"Ow..." I hissed under my breath

"Where Did he hurt you?" Anti asked looking at me

"N-No it's fine. It's nothing" I tried to hide it

Anti found it already. He looked at Dark with a blank stare

"Get out" Anti said calmly

"What?" Dark asked

"I SAID GET OUT! I DON'T WANT Y/N TO GET HURT BECAUSE OF YOU!" Anti shouted

"Anti what about being my friend? We promised friends before girlfriends remember?" Dark asked

"Dark I can't be your friend if you're going to hurt the person I love" Anti said holding me tightly

Dark glared at Anti and then at me "Y/N and I are gonna have another little talk real quick"

I looked at Anti "Anti I'll just yell if I need you. Believe me...I can scream"

Anti smiled and kissed my forehead before shooting Dark a glare and leaving

"Oh Y/N..." he chuckled as if talking down to a child "You just cause more and more trouble"

"It's my specialty" I grinned. Dark slapped me

"Don't interrupt me" he growled

I zoned out for most of the dumb lecture. The threats were just a buzz in the background. That was until Dark slammed me into the wall

"Pay attention when you're being spoken to!" he growled

"I'll do what I like" I said quietly

"What? Did I hear you talk back to me?" Dark asked

"Yes. Now it's your turn to listen Dark" I began

"I could break you in half with the flick of my wrist" he said in a low growl

"LISTEN TO ME AND DON'T INTERRUPT!" I yelled "Look this is my house and my word is law. I don't like you either Dark. I hate you in fact. I've only let you stay for Anti. I want him to feel...at home. I want him to be happy, keeping you around seemed like a good option...until of course you start threatening me. SO CUT THE CRAP AND LET IT GO THAT ANTI CAN'T BE WITH YOU 24/7!"

"OH YEAH? YOU LITTLE SHIT I WANT TO KILL YOU! IF IT WEREN'T FOR ANTI, YOUR BLOOD WOULD BE ON THESE WALLS! SO GET OVER HERE, LETS SEE WHO'S BETTER SUITED TO BE ANTI'S COMPANION!" He threatened with a grin

"STOP FIGHTING OVER ME!" Anti burst into the room

Dark and I glared at each other in an intense staring contest

"I'm flattered you guys care about me so much, but this has gotten out of control. If you keep this up I will leave and never speak to you guys ever again. Both of you. This. ends. tonight" Anti said sternly before walking out

Dark shifted in place uncomfortably "Um...I'm gonna make this brief. I still don't like you...I actually don't give a fuck about you. But if Anti wants me to, I'll put up with you for now. So...yeah, don't take this the wrong way, fuck you and leave me alone"

I blinked "Uh...does that count as an apology?"

"Yes. I believe you also have something to say to me as well" Dark said looking at me

"Huh? Oh right...um...I'm sorry. I...felt threatened so...fight or flight? I choose fight" I said

He nodded before leaving

"That...could've gone better" I said to myself

"You're lucky. Dark's my brother and I haven't gotten anything close to an 'I'm sorry' in my 20-some years" a voice said from behind me

I spun around to see a version of Dark laying on my bed reading an old 'NintendoPower' magazine (A/N: Is That what it was?)

"Oh hey by the way" he said not looking from the magazine

"ANTI!?" I yelled

"Oh...no don't yell! Don't yell!" he said putting his arms on my shoulders

Dark opened the door. He looked at the other guy and growled

"Oh h-hey bro" the other guy said nervously

"Glitch" Dark said with little emotion in his voice "What the hell are you doing here?"
