Chapter 35: Heartache

Anne's POV

"I still don't get it" Solenn said the moment we got home.

"Sos, I really am sorry. You're right, I shouldn't force myself to love someone just because Karylle can't love me the way I do. It's-"

"But Anne-" she suddenly said which made me frown.

"Solenn, I really am sorry."

"Pathetic."

"What?"

"Do you honestly think you'll end up together? Just because she told you she loves you doesn't mean-"

"Psh"

"Anne, you know exactly what I mean."

"Tama na. Wala akong panahon makinig sa'yo. Pwede ba? Pumasok ka nalang sa kwarto mo, I'll go to my room now. I need a rest." I said but I gasp when she suddenly pushed me and pinned me on the door of the guest room. And before I knew it, we were already kissing each other passionately. Yes, I admit, I responded to her kiss.

I heard the creaking sound from the other door and that's the only time I got back into my senses. I pushed Sos away from me lightly and my eyes landed to Karylle who was just standing still.

"K-Karylle" I utter while trembling because I know, she'll get mad. I froze as well, I didn't know what to do. We stared at each other for a while before she went inside of the room again. "Karylle wait!" I called out but Solenn grabbed me by the arm. I pulled my arm away from her grip and glared upon her. "Fuck you!" I yelled.

"For pete's sake Anne! You responded to my kiss and she saw it!" I pushed her and pointed my finger on her face.

"Listen, 'pag kami nagkasira nang dahil sa'yo, magkalimutan na tayo!" I warned before I followed K . She locked herself in the comfort room and so I kept on knocking for her to open it.

"Karylle, please buksan mo na 'to! Let me explain please!" I kept on saying as I continuously knock on the door. I panicked when I heard her shout.

"ARGGHHHHHHHH!" she shrieked and a sound of shattering glass suddenly echoed from the inside.

"Karylle! Karylle open the door!! K!!" I panicked as I knock continuously on the door. My heart can't stop itself from beating so fast. I'm so worried about her. "K! Open this please" I said with a cracking voice. "Ma! Ma! Si ate K!!" I yelled and seconds later, mom and dad hurried upstairs.

"Ano bang nangyari??" mom panicked and got the key. Her hands are shaking while twisting it inside the door knob. "K? K!!" she panicked and as soon as she got the door open, she hugged Karylle who is currently sitting on the floor while holding her other hand bleeding so hard. I roamed my eyes around and I saw the mirror above the sink is already shattered into pieces some are even scattered in the sink and down to the floor.

"Ano'ng nangyari dito?" dad panicked and stood still staring blankly at mom and dad. I froze as well for a while staring blankly at K's bleeding hand.

"K-Karylle" I utter. "Karylle sorry" I tell her as I enter the bathroom as well.

"Lumayo ka." She whispered.

"K, I'm sorry I-"

"LUMAYO KA!" she yelled and glared upon me. I moved back since I felt different when she did that.

"We'll take you to the nearest clinic" mom said while she's wrapping her hand with a bondage. "Ano ba kasing pinagagagawa mo anak!?"

I gulped as I stare them. I feel so damn guilty. I never thought she's the type of person who will punch a mirror and let herself hurt for no reason.
