Well, the Queen of the Time Lords flew me before I met the Doctor. But sadly when she died, after she regenerated 48 times (that's how many regenerations a Time Lady Queen or Time Lord King has. Normal Time Lords and Ladies have 12, unless they are given another round by the council.) I was sent to a museum with a bunch of other Tardises who were flown by the Time Lord Kings and Time Lady Queens. Then the Doctor came along and saved me from rotting in that museum. And we have been running ever since.
