Forever and Always

Your POV:

"A-Avatar?" I asked shocked at the news.

"Yes" was the mans only reply; "Any other questions?" he asked.

"Y-Yes...umm...Sir, why did you kill my parents?" I was trying so hard not break down and cry tears were already flowing down my checks and I was sniffing a lot too.

"Well you see your parents were in the way of you becoming a strong Avatar" the man told me.

"B-But-" I was cut of by the Director again.

"No buts now these two men" he gestured over to the two men who were still standing at the door, "will lead you to your room" he finished and went back to the papers on his desk.

I just signed and walked my way toward the two men. They handcuffed me even though I was only being escorted to my room. I didn't understand yet what the Director meant by "room".

"Why are you ha-" I was cutoff again by the man who was holding my left arm.

"Shut it brat!" He snapped at me. I just nodded and was dragged toward the other end of the hall way, but this door was metal.

The man on my right opened the door and the man on my left shoved me into the room. When we got in to the room it was no room it was a prison. I looked at all the people who were in the prison cels. The ages ranged from 4-21 at least, but what I realized is that not all of them had a jail mate actually most of them didn't only a few; and those people who did have a jail mate looked like they were siblings or relatives.

Before I could examine the prison more the two cops shoved me up the stairs to the second level. You could see each level since they didn't have all the floors , maybe it's an easier way to watch everyone?

I got shoved into a cel and when I was about to get out I heard the door behind me shut and lock.

"Now be a good girl and stay there" one of the men said with a voice he would use with a dog. Then they started to leave.

"Hey what about my ha-" I was cutoff for the third time today.

"Look at your cuffs brat" spat the other guard. I looked down at my hands and saw that the handcuffs fell off.

I guess they fell off when I got in here or something. I thought.

"Hey you!" Yelled a France voice which startled me and made me jump. I heard giggles coming from my left. I looked to my left and saw a girl around my age or older in the cel next to mine.

"Why are you laughing at me?" I asked the blond girl in the cel next to mine.

"At how jumpy you are" she said while holding back giggles. I just puffed my cheeks out. "So how'd you end up here?" She asked.

"Apparently I'm the Avatar" I replied with a scoff.

"For me they told me I'm the first electric-bender" the blond girl told me.

"So can you control electricity?" I asked in curiosity.

"Yeah but I still need to work on it" she told me. "What can you bend?" She asked finally looking at me. When she did I could see she had aqua eyes and her electric blond bangs were long too so they were tucked behind her ear.

"Earth bending." I replied simply. She just nodded and looked forward again. "U-Uh what's your name?" I asked the blond girl. She looked at me.

"Denki, and yours?" She asked.

"(y/n)" I told her.

"Well welcome to hell (y/n)" she told me with a small smirk on her face.

What does she mean by hell? Thousands of questions were running through my head at were and why I'm here. "What do you mean by hell?" I asked while tilting my head to its side.

"Your used as a test subject here, and if you haven't noticed everyone in here's a bender; and you can try getting out of these cels, but trust me I tried and the only thing it got me to was getting beat" my stomach dropped at that last part.

"But why are we here?" I asked scared of the actual answer.

"Test subjects; were lab rats for the director and his non-bender buddies" she replied clenching her fists till her knuckles turned white. I started to sob at this information.

Why me? Why did it have to be me?! Am I really the Avatar or am I just another test subject to them? Why did my parents have to be killed? Why? Why? WHY?! I was crying now tears flowing down my cheeks like a water fall. I buried my head into my knees and rapt my arms around my legs.

"Hey don't cry" Denki said, "I hate to see people crying and I hate it even more if those people are my friends" she said while looking at me and a heart warming smile graced her lips. Now my crying turned into small sobs.

"O-Okay, are we friends?" I asked her.

"Yeah, and friends help each other no matter what right?" I nodded in agreement. She held out her pinkie through the bars, "Forever and always?" She asked looking at me. I slowly got up and walked toward her. Then I popped my self down on the hard floor and looked at her. She just nodded at me; I held up my pinkie and intertwined it with hers.

"Forever and always" I agreed with a smile on my face, and she smiled back at me.

"Now go get some rest cause your gonna need it for the tests" I nodded
And we both made our way toward the hard beds. I payed down on mine and but the thin cold covers over me.

The last thing I heard before somehow falling asleep on the rock hard bed was "Goodnight" from Denki and I just mumbled "Goodnight" back before going to sleep.
