Escape

Denki's POV.:

I used my bending so I could run as fast as lightning while caring Ayato over my shoulder. We got to a hallway and I had stopped at. I threw Ayato down from my shoulder into the ground, and rested my head onto the wall in exhaustion.

"How the hell did you do that" Ayato asked after getting off the ground with a groan.

"It's part of being and Electric Bender" I replied simply out of breath.

"That's awesome!" He exclaimed, but I hushed him while putting my pointer finger in front of my lips to shush him. He nodded. I tried to get up, but couldn't and fell right back down.

"Running at that high speed must have taken up most of my energy" I said while regaining my breath and breathing steadily again. Ayato thought for a second then pulled me up by the hand and put me on his back like we were going on a piggy back ride or something. "W-What are you doing?!" I asked my face heating up a little bit at contact.

"Well since you can nearly stand. I have to carry you like a baby, Goldilocks" the blush that was on my cheeks suddenly faded and now I just wanted to beat the living shit out of him, but I couldn't since I could nearly even lift my head up.

"I'm going to fucking kill you if the guards don't" I said quietly he just chuckled at me and he started to run in a random direction.

"Wait where are we going?" Asked Ayato still running through the halls.

"I don't know I just ran in random directions hoping to loose the guards" I replied back.

"Then how are we supposed to get out of here!" Ayato whisper yelled at me.

"I have no clue, but maybe if we got to the roof of this building we might have a chance of finding an exit" I told him.

He started walking around trying to look for a stare case, and finally we had found one. He kicked open the door with one foot then started walking up the stairs. When we got past about 4 floors we where about to pass a door, but then we saw a bunch of guards pass by through the doors window he hid away from the window and we waited till the guards passed. When they finally did Ayato re adjusted me on his back and he started to head up the stairs again. When we had gotten to the last door he opened it, and thankfully there were no guards here.

"Finally" I sighed out in reload of actually not dying today.

"Agreed" Ayato said while setting me down onto the ground then resting his hands I his knees to catch his breath. I got off the ground and looked around then I spotted a helicopter. I rubbed my eyes in disbelief. This entire time they had a helicopter and we could have escaped!

"Ayato look a helicopter" I exclaimed in excitement pointing toward the helicopter. He looked at it and his face instantly brightened up.

"Wh-Whaaa?" He stared at the helicopter in disbelief. "I-Is that a?" He asked still not believing his own eyes.

"It sure is now come on before the guards come" I said pulling him toward the chopper.

When we got there I suddenly remembered an important a very very important detail about the helicopter. For us to actually escape someone needs to know how to control it. I face palmed at my stupidity. Ayato looked at me with a questioning look.

"Ayato for us to use that chopper we actually need to know how to fly it" I told him his smile suddenly turned into a frown after realizing that we can't use the helicopter to escape. We stood there for a while then he a small smirk formed onto his lips. I looked at him.

"What are you smirking at?" I asked him.

"I know how to fly a chopper" he said while cloning into the helicopter. I stared at him in disbelief.

"You can what?!" I asked climbing into the passenger seat of the helicopter. Closing the door after I entered it. "How do you know how to fly one of these things?" I asked him.

"My dad was a great pilot and when I was little he taught me how to fly this thing, but only the basics of how to launch move and land. Plus I read a lot about helicopters when I was younger" he said with a smile on his face while putting on the head sets the helicopter had, and flipping a bunch of and pressing a bunch of buttons. I put on the head sets or whatever the hell it is. Then all of a sudden the choppers propellers started to move and we starts to fly up words. I stared in amazement, but that was cut short by hearing more than one propeller.

"Shit!" Yelled Ayato,"there's more then one chopper!" He said dodging a rocket that was heading our way. "You don't happen to know how to use the guns on a helicopter would you?" He asked me with a little hint of hope in his voice.

"No" I replied, "I wish I did, but sadly I can't" I said sadly.

"Well can you at least try?" Asked me I sighed and got out of the helicopters passenger seat and walked toward the back area, and saw a huge machine gun. I looked at it in amazement.

"Holy shit, that's real" I said walking toward it, but before I could get to the machine gun the helicopter made a sharp turn and I flew away from it and hit against a wall hard. "Watch where your going!" I yelled into the head sets.

"Sorry" Ayato replied sheepishly. I sighed and made my way toward the machine gun again got ahold of it and looked at it.

"Now how the hell do I control this thing?" I asked my self,"I seen my cousin play enough fist person shooter games I should know how to control these things" I told myself trying to remember what my cousin did when he played this video games. Then it hit me, "It must have a trigger somewhere" I looked at it a little more then found it. "Aha!" I had found the trigger I aimed it toward a chopper that was following us I pulled the trigger and it shot (it autocorrected it to shit) out a rocket. It hit right on the helicopter started to spin down and exploded when it hit the ground. "Take that bitch!" I yelled in glee.

"Nice shot" I heard Ayato's voice through the head sets. "Now shoot some more of those bastards!" He yelled. I smirked and started to look for another chopper, but didn't find any. Then I heard a few bullets go off I looked around, but still no helicopter. Then I realized we where going down.

"Ayato!" I screamed, but no reply came, "Ayato!" I screamed at the top of my lungs while the chopper was getting nearer and nearer to the surface. I still didn't get a reply. He was dead. I was about to break down since one of my best friends had died, but then I realized I was in A life or death situation. I looked around my for a parachute. I found one I ran toward it ripped it off the wall put it on my back and I jumped out of helicopter. I was setting close to the ground so I pulled the string that would release the parachute, but when I pulled it it didn't work. I pulled it again still nothing. I looked for another strong I found another one and started pulling on that one, but nothing happened I got to close to the ground ready for impact, and then I hit the ground and everything faded away. I was dead.

This chapter is the longest cheater ever it has 1341 words! Can you believe that! And how do you guys feel about that twist? Yep I killed off characters. Or did I. The world may never know.
