I can't be in a crowd
They judge me
They examine every step I take
They watch my every moveI try to stop the voices
But they keep speaking just the same
They say that the crowd hates me
That they think I am nothingI try to keep the voices quiet
But they are like thunder in my ears
They cannot be quieted in the crowd
They will not stopI feel safe when I am alone
I do not worry about the voices
Solitude is my friend
My only companionOne day I will make the voices stop
But for now I am too weak
I cannot save myself
But one day maybe I will
