Thanks for your comments. I've now updated 4 days in a row but can I make it 5? Doubt it, my sister's birthdays tomorrow so i'll be busy but i'll try. Anyway, here’s chapter 10 part 1.

ROSE’S POV

It been two months since I’ve started working as James’ secretary and I’ve loved it. I’ve made many friends both male and female. James and I are really good friends and have a good professional relationship. Were on first name bases unless were in a meeting which is when we go all professional. He really is a great guy like Kat said and I can’t help thinking how lucky Isabelle is. I really don’t understand how an amazing guy like James would marry a bitch like Isabelle. I mean, she may be beautiful but that obviously isn’t the reason. James isn’t like that. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her in person. Lucky me!

*FLASHBACK*

I was typing away in my office when there was a knock on the door.

“Come in!” I shouted not looking up. I heard a cough and I looked up to see a blonde, hair blue eyes model. I knew it was Isabelle because I’ve seen her in magazine covers, not that I buy them.

“Can I help you?” I asked politely.

“Yes, where’s my fiancée?” she asked emphasising the word fiancée.

“He’s in a private meeting at the moment but you’re welcome to wait in the reception. I’ll let you know when he’s done.”

“No need, I didn’t come here to see James. I came here to see you. James told me about you dinner together and you inviting to watch a movie,” She leans forward resting her hands on my desk but her threating eyes never left mine. “I’ve come to tell you if you ever pull a stunt like that, I’ll have your job taken away from you, just like that,” she screeched clicking her fingers. “We’re going to get married. He wouldn’t want me upset and I’m sure he wouldn’t hesitate to fire you. Now listen carefully you whore me and James are in love so if you think you will ever be with him you dreaming. He would never leave for someone,” she looked me up and down “like you.”

That had to be the longest and worst rant I’ve ever had the horror of listening to. At least she’s done, now I can give her a piece of my mind.

I put on a voice of a therapist and spoke to her like she was mad. “Honey, I believe you’re suffering from trust issues but that’s something that I can’t personally help you with. But here’s a little advice because I can tell you’re in desperate need of it. Stop your empty threats because they aren’t having any effect on me what so ever. And as were on the subjects of threats, here’s one for you. If you ever threaten me again, your fiancée isn’t the only thing you’ll have to worry about losing.  Now, take your hands off my desk,” I told her lifting both of her dirty hand off my desk and then gave her a fake smile. “And get the hell out of my office”. I watched with a smirk, as she stomped angrily out my office. Stupid bitch.

 *END OF FLASHBACK*

Anyway, enough thinking about Isabelle, she isn’t worth it. Right now I’m in a sleek, black limo with James and Isabelle. We were all attending a formal party thrown by one of the company’s business partners. I knew a few people who would be attending which made this whole evening less nerve racking. At tonight’s event, James would be announcing his engagement to Isabelle and I was dreading it. She kept flaunting the large diamond ring James gave to her. Whenever I seem them together, I can’t help the confused expression that crosses.  Isabelle always looks like she loves James, well sort of but James; he always has a bored expression whenever they speak like he doesn’t love her. Maybe I’m just looking too hard.
