I was busy typing on my computer, checking my emails since I had finished my work, when my office phone rang. I picked it up and placed it by my ear.

“Rose could you come into my office please,” James said before ending the call. And hello to you to. I walked to his office and knocked at the door. He called out “come in” so I did. I was surprised to see Jayden pretending to be an airplane and pacing up down the room. He was making noises and I could tell it was annoying James.

“Hi Jayden!” I shouted so he could hear me. He turned to face me before crashing me in a bear hug. He was stronger than he looked. He released me and carried on playing.

“You called,” I said to James.

“Please take him out. You can go out to the park or to get ice-cream since its almost lunch time. Anything but please get him out!” I never thought I see the day where James Smith was desperate and I’m glad it arrived.

“What’s in it for me?” I asked even though it would be my pleasure to take Jayden out.

“I’ll pay you more for this month, ten per cent more.” Ten per cent more, that’s actually a lot more money but I wanted to get all that I can from him.

“Um I don’t know,” I said with a pondering expression.

“Twenty per cent,” he said pleadingly.

“I’m still not sure,” I said. Just then we heard glass break and we turned to Jayden who had broken a vase containing flowers.  There was now a big mess that I was happy I didn’t have to clean.

“Opsy,” Jayden whispered. Aw he’s so cute.

“Anything, anything you want.” Bingo! I had already asked Kat, Jazz, Liz if they could go to the barbecue and they said they could but I still could invite some more people and I wanted James to be one of them.

“Twenty per cent increase and the Saturday and Sunday three weeks from now I want you to keep them open for me. I’m going to my friends barbecue with some friends and I want you to come too. Oh and I want you to provide transport since it’s in Florida and were in New York.” I was aware that James had a private jet which could be very useful.

James’s eyes flicked to Jayden who was playing with some very important documents.

“Okay deals just get him out,” he said. I smiled happily and turned towards Jayden.

“Hey Jayden, do you want to go and get some ice-cream?”  He nodded excitedly and we left the room.  I quickly got my bag from my office but left my coat since it was sunny outside and we left the building.

We had the most amazing time together. We bought ice cream, went to the arcade and played on everything. We went to Central Park Zoo which was cool and took a lot of pictures. We went to Wollman Rink which was surprisingly packed even though it was warm out. I taught Jayden how to skate which wasn’t easy, especially since it was

really busy.  We ate at Mc Donald’s which was cool and we talked loads. He really was a cool kid. Very enthusiastic and kept me on my toes. Overall I had the best day and was sad it was coming to an end.  Right now we were at the park near work eating Mcflurry’s. I wasn’t sure if James was in the office and I didn’t see his limo here so I decided to call him. After three rings he picked up the phone.

“Hi James’s it’s Rose, are you still at the office?”

“No, I’m at home right now, my sister-Jayden’s mom is here. Where are you?”

“I’m at the park near work.”

“Okay, I’m sending George to pick you up, bye.” He turned off the phone before I could respond. Ten minutes later, George came and opened the door and I was about to say goodbye to Jayden but George spoke.
