"You want to leave that badly? Fine. Prove yourself. Prove to me that you are strong enough to leave."
Haruhi was shaking furiously. She didn't want to fight. She just wanted to go home.
"I... I don't want to fight you."
Toriel ignored her. Haruhi pleaded with her, and tried not to cry.
"What are you doing?" Toriel snapped. "Fight me or leave!"
But Haruhi refused. She withstood Toriel's onslaught of attacks, and refused to fight back.
"I know you want to leave, but please, go upstairs now." Toriel said, her voice wavering.
Haruhi stood her ground.
"No. I cannot do that. You would just be unhappy here."
Haruhi was fighting back tears now. She felt awful for doing this, but she was determined.
"My expectations, my loneliness, my fears... For you, my child, I will put them aside."
Toriel sighed, and told Haruhi,
"You may leave, but I have one request. When you do, please do not come back."
Toriel gave Haruhi one final goodbye, a hug, and left. Haruhi, still shaken, left as well.
When she exited the ruins, she sat in front of the door, and began to cry.
