Screams, scratches, fires and little shards of glasses, but everything felt so numb.

What had happened? Her breaths were slowing down, a body lay beside, immobile. The car she flew out of had drifted to one side of the road where Dianne rested.

She tried tilting her shaking head but it was throbbing so she forced her mind to hear when Joseph's hazy face showed horrors that gave her losing heart jolts. And then she heard it.

Sirens.

And she stopped struggling.
