I stared at the message and smiled to myself. I didn't expect him to text me, especially since I told him that I liked him.
"Did he really just text me?" I said not believing it
I got in the shower and took a quick bath and changed into my tight black skinny jeans and a white shirt.
"I look good" I said as I inspected myself in the mirror.
I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed. I checked my breath to make sure it was fresh and check if I smelled, even if I just took a shower.
"Eomma" I called to my mother who was watching TV in Kara's room "Can I go out with some friends tonight?"
She looked at me weirdly "Do they happen to be girls or boys?"
"Uhh...boys" I said "Girls are annoying"
"Ouch!" I said as she threw her shoe in my head
"I'm not annoying" she said folding her arms
"Neither am I" Kara jumped in "Eomma, can i go with Jimin Oppa?"
NO!
"No" My mom said and I sighed in relief "It's too late for you to go outside without proper protection"
"Hey, I can protect myself and others" I defended
"Oh really? Then carry her with you" she suggested
"No! I was lying, I can't protect myself because I'm so weak and stupid to fight" I said desperately not wanting Kara to come
They both laughed at me "You're so stupid!"
"Anyway, bye" I said as I headed out of the room
"Be back by 12" My mom yelled at me "you have school tomorrow"
I rolled my eyes and yelled "okay"

"You're here early" I said as I saw Jungkook staring at the sky
"I can say the same" he retorted
I laughed and he looked at me.
"I need to talk to you" he said seriously
"Sure" I said "I'm all ears"
He smiled a little and gestured for me to sit down.
"So..what is it?" I asked
"About earlier....I-I.."
"You what?" I asked
"I kind of felt something when we kissed and did you know...but I thought I did that because I wanted to forget about Chailee and surprisingly it worked. I didn't think I would ever like a boy and I don't know...I guess you're....special?"
My heart melted at his words. He likes me back? OMG THIS IS SO HAPPENING!!! I tried to contain my excitement by biting my lips.
"I don't know what to say" I said truthfully
"It's okay if you have nothing to say" He said looking back at the stars
"Beautiful" I said looking at him
"Yeah, I know they are" he said
"No, no! They are but I was talking about you...you're beautiful" I said bravely
His cheeks turned pink "Shut up!"
He suddenly got up and held my hand. I felt a spark of electricity fly up my hand. What is he doing to me?
"Let's go for a walk" he said pulling me along
Things were going fine until we saw some of his friends from school. I think they were the ones who beat me up. Jungkook quickly let go of my hand and looked in the opposite direction.
"What's he doing here?" the tall one asked
"He's new to the neighborhood, so I'm helping him out. Got a problem Jin?" he said sternly
"Nope, no problem at all. Yoongi, Namjoon and I were just strolling around town, wanna come?" he asked
"No thanks" Jungkook said "I'm still showing him around and I have to get back home to my brother"
Jin sighed "Okay, later bro!"
They walked away from us and I was grateful they didn't say anything to me.
"Some friends you have" I said chuckling.
"Just shut up" he said as we continued strolling the park.
"Is that an arcade?" I asked not taking my eyes off the place.
"Yeah...why?" he asked
I just motioned from the arcade to him and he got the hint.
"I'm going to roast you" he said as he started running inside the arcade
"Not until I do it first" I said running after him

"In your face!" Jungkook said dancing around me.
We were playing for 2 hours and he beat me in every single game.
"The gods are not on my side today" I said shaking my head
He laughed and looked at his watch "Well, I got to go now"
"Aww..can't you stay for a next hour?" I said
He shook his head "No..I have to get home before my mom finds out that I left my brother alone at home. See ya"
He ran out of the park as fast as he could, while I stood there smiling like a creeper.
"Stop staring, creep" a girl said and I stuck my tongue out at her.
I wasn't even looking at her.
"Pervert!" she shouted and I ran out of the park and went home.
...............
"It's not my fault" I heard my mom yelled
"Jesus, can't you be sane for once?" a male voice said.
I opened the door and saw the living room in a total mess. Broken glasses, broken tv, clothes, blood...wait blood?
I looked up to my mom and I saw her arm bleeding. I rushed to her and glared at my father.
"What happened?" I asked
"Stay out of this" my father yelled
"Make it stop!" Kara said crying
Gosh, what is wrong with this family?
