Love her better (RinXLen)

Len's pov~

"Hey what movie are we going to watch?"

I look over to my beautiful best friend Rin and grin evilly.

"It's a secret~" I say while waving my finger at her.

She slumps down and crosses her arms.

"Fine Len! Don't tell me."

I roll my eyes.

"If you really want to know, fine." I say and hand her the DVD.

She grabs it eagerly and starts to examine the case.

"Wait this is a romance.." Rin tells me looking slightly embarrassed.

"So? got a problem with it?" I tease her.

"N-no not r-really."

"Good because we're watching it."

Then I sit down on the couch and Rin sits next to me. The movie stars.

I look down at her. She's so beautiful.

Her golden blond hair like mine, with her adorable white bow on top and her four white hair clips holding back her bangs.

She has the most amazing blue eyes and a prefect smile to match it. It makes me wish we were more than friends.

A lot of people say that we look so alike that we could be twins, and I can see it. We grew up together, it was when we became friends in kindergarten that we started hanging out a lot.

Around fourth grade I started having feelings for her. I just thought it was me being childish until the small crush turned into love.

I have never had the nerve to confess to her yet but I'm hoping that today will be my chance.

"This guys seems to never find the right time to confess to the girl." Rin says snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah your right." I reply back. I didn't realize that we were already part way into the movie.

"You know, this makes me wonder.."

"Wonder what?"

"If you like anyone, Len."

I feel my face go red.

Rin stares at me with a blank expression.

"N-no I don't like a-anyone." I stutter.

Rin does a half hearted laugh.

"I don't believe you."

"What about you Rin, don't u like anyone?"

Rin goes pale.

"Come on Rin who is it." I ask.

She starts twiddling her thumbs.

Maybe she doesn't want to tell because she secretly likes me! Suddenly I feel very excited to hear her answer.

"We'll you see I." She stammers.

"Don't worry Rin, you can tell me." I say calmly

"Ok fine! It's Piko!" She says then hides her face.

I look at her in shock. I seriously thought she would confess to me! She likes my best bud Piko?!

Suddenly I feel anger burning inside me.

"Rin, I have to go."

I start to get up when Rin looks up at me with her aqua eyes.

"Wait Len don't leave!"

But it's too late. i'm already out the door.
