I had snuck my way over to the campus side that Jonathan had told me to go to if I needed him

"Room 678, dorm hall A... Room 678 dorm hall A." I kept mumbling and repeating to myself.

People werent allowed out of their dorms past 9, so the entire campus was empty except for me sneaking around. Im surprised they didnt have staff members standing guard or something, i mean after all, we are teenagers.

I finally was in dorm hall A, at the complete other side of the building.

678.... 678.... 678... 678!!

Finally the giant numbers appeared on the door. I wiped at my eyes for any stray tears, and fixed my hair in case Alec had messed it up with his roaming hands. I brought my fist to the wood of the door and knocked gently. The sound of soft footsteps came and soon a Jonathan in boxers and a white T-shirt appeared.

His brown eyes searched my face as my own green ones grazed his body.

You could see slightly through his white shirt that he had slight unflexed abs. He towered over me, so much so that he had to look down at me and my eyes were just barely able to reach his stubbly chin.

He placed his hand on the doorframe and leaned down a bit,"I gotta say, you came alot quicker than I thought you would."

I blushed lightly, "Yeah, I know... can I come in?"

He stood still for a moment, as if contemplating. He then moved aside. I came in under his arm.

"Thank you. Are you sure youre ok with me here?"

"Youre the first chick to come here without being under the influence of anything, so why not?" He shrugged and smirked.

I blushed again. "I-I'm not here for that-"

"I know, i know. Just playin. But its true."

I felt a sudden pang of sadness for him. All the girls that come here arent coming because they actually feel in their heart that they want to.

"... I'm sorry."

He went over to the couch and sat down. He shook his hands at me as he flopped down. "Nah, its still fun."

"Anyway," he said patting the couch and sitting up, "Why are you here?"

I went to the couch and sat down next to him.

"Alright, the reason I'm here... is because of Alec."

His face seemed to sober up of all emotion. "Did you tell him that you were talking to me? About what I told you?"

"No, no of course not. Its not because of that."

"Oh. Then what was it?" He said scooting a little closer.

I planted my eyes on my fingers.
"Well, I should be truthful and tell you this. I have a crush on him... or had. And um, I know he doesnt like me back. But lately he was sleeping with me-"

"Woah, woah, woah. He was sleeping with you?" He asked increduosly, eyebrows knitting together.

"No! No. Like sleeping in the same bed as me. Because i was having nightmares... and to help he slept with me. And things were going great. I didnt have anymore nightmares. But then, this morning, he went on a date. He said he was gonna be right back, but he wasnt. It took him hours to come home. And when he did, he didnt even notice me, he was too busy making out with that chick Jenifer." I swiped my hands in the air at her name.
"Then, of course i was upset about it, so i went to that party with Trevor. And you know, you were there and stuff. And when i went home, he was there, asleep on the couch. I didnt want him to wake up with a crick in his neck, so i went to wake him up. And when i did, he didnt know who i was, a-and he kissed me, thinking i was Jenifer. And he tasted like alchohol, so i stopped the kiss. And then he realised who i was, and was asking questions. And i got mad and, now here i am..." i say ending my story.

I finally pulled my eyes away from my hands and looked at him. His face was looking forward and he was clenching his jaw. He turned his head looked into my eyes.

"And what is it youre looking for, coming here?"

"A friend... a distraction?" I shrug and look forward.

"Alright. You can stay here. I'll be nice. But one condition."

I gulped, "ok?"

"You'll do what i say tomorrow. You'll probably not like it, but it'll keep your mind off of him."

Thank you for not saying his name.

I smiled lightly, "ok." I scooted over a little and hugged him.

He didnt react immediately, but he did pat me on the back with one hand.

I pulled away, "Thank you."

"No problem." He said waving it away.

Jonathan was bringing me a blanket and a pillow to me on the couch. I thanked him again for letting me stay.

"If you thank me one more time, ill kick you out." He snapped, smiling to show he was kidding, and laid the stuff down next to me.

It was the first time i saw him without a beanie on, and his lushious black hair was the kind of skater-boy styles you saw often, but ive got to say, he pulled it off better than anyone ive ever seen it on before.

"Alright, well id better get to bed. Goodnight, Angela." He said straightening.

"Ok, goodnight. And tha-"

"Oh, shut up already." He chuckled and smirked.

He walked away to his room.

I smiled to myself.

I stood up and set up the couch for my slumber.

I took off my jacket and shoes and placed them beside the couch. I began taking off my flannel shirt, dont worry i had a tank top on. Then i laid down and covered up on my couch bed, and welcomed the sleep that tugged on me.
