I climbed out of the car and faced the house I would be staying in. It was big with a fountain in the middle of the gravel driveway. When we entered Louis led me up the staircase and down the corridor.
"You can pick whatever room you want really," he said chuckling slightly while he scratched the back if his neck awkwardly.
"What ones you room?" I asked.
"This one," he said pointing to the one behind us.
"I'll take this one then," I said grabbing my bag from him and entering the room next to his.
The room was plain white with a light blue bedspread and matching colour curtains. I started to unpack my bag and I got out all my photos first. I smiled too myself as I placed them on the desk in my room. Finally remembering the story behind each one.
I had just finished unpacking my bag when my bedroom door opened and Louis walked in.
"Hey, Harry and Niall are here." He smiled.
"Where's Liam and Zayn?" I asked.
"With their girlfriends," he replied. "We're going to watch a film in the lounge, come down when you're ready."
I nodded as he left. I took a quick shower before getting changed into a pair of pyjama shorts and a t-shirt before heading downstairs. I got to the bottom of the stairs before realising that I had no idea where I was going. I turned right into the kitchen where there was no one to be seen. I huffed in frustration as I then wandered round the house, not finding the lounge where Louis said he and the boys were waiting.
I turned left and walked into a library. Shelves of books were lining every wall. I traced their spines with my finger as I read the classic titles. I could spend all day in here but a sound snapped me out of my trance. I turned the corner to investigate the noise where I saw a mop of curls. Harry stood up after picking the book up from the floor, when he saw me his eyes widened.
"Katherine? What are you doing here?" He asked.
"Uh, I got lost actually." I laughed.
"Easily done," he smiled placing the book back on the shelf.
"What were you reading?" I asked.
"Just some poetry." He said blushing slightly.
"Really? I didn't expect a member of a boy band to be into poetry," I confessed.
"Don't judge a book by it's cover," he said laughing at his own joke. I laughed with him as I observed the library properly. It had shelves upon shelves of classic books. A grand chandelier was hung in the middle of the room.
"We should probably get to watching that film," he said.
"Yeah," I agreed as he guided me into the lounge where Louis and Niall were waiting.
"Quick the films starting," Louis said as I sat next to him.
The film started playing as I got comfy making the most of my time with Louis and the boys, because I knew it wouldn't last forever.
