Secrets

Three days. That was how much time she had left in this world.

But no one was aware of this but her and Hiro, who decided to keep her secret. "Okay, so I have a plan to save Sakura now..." Riki says as Sakura takes a seat next to Eisuke and Soryu.

It was once more all pointless planning, just a lot of bribing and some kind of break out. "That's all we got for now. We still have about a week so we can execute this quickly." Riki says, looking over the blueprints of the prison he had stolen.

"Great, can I get back now?"

"No, the chief said that you have a whole day since you know, your execution is in a week. They wanted you to spend time with important people in your life."

She looked around at all the men, who were giddy with excitement about spending a day with Sakura after such a long time... But her execution day is in 3 days, and the more time she spent with these men, meaning more pain and guilt would stay in her when she had her last moments.

Meaning she would miss them so much more than she needed to.

Sakura found herself in a park with all the Foxes and bidders after being convinced by Rin that she needed to take a breather and spend more time with her friends.

She was hanging out under a tree, trying to avoid the group after she had made an excuse to use the washroom. It was all quiet, until Hiro popped up behind her.

"Howdy doody, Saku!" he greets cheerfully with a wide grin. "Hey, Sarashina." she smiles, looking at him for a brief moment before looking down to her drink in her hand.

"What are you doing here?" "Trying to avoid the group." she chuckles, shaking her juice box slightly. "Why?" "I thought your IQ was 180, Hiro." she laughs, but then frowns.

"It's just that... If I spend more time with them, it'll be harder for me to accept my fate." she answers seriously, looking down at her juice box once more.

"Well... Good point, I suppose." he sighs, running a hand through his hair. "Exactly... Well, better get back before they suspect something, let's go."

After they get back, the rest of the day passed and Sakura had fallen asleep, landing her head on Soryu's shoulder, making the mobster blush as he struggles not to move too much, not wanting to wake his friend.

"Mmm..." she suddenly stir when Soryu tried reaching for his water. "Huh? Soryu?"

"Sorry... Did I wake you?" he looks down, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly as the rest smirk at their exchange. Unaware to the two, a few of them have been secretly taking pictures of them together with Sakura sleeping on his shoulder and such.

"No, sorry... Was I disturbing you?" Sakura asks, making the mobster shake his head as she beams back. "Great. Now, what are we doing here?"

"Well we finished the picnic, we have nothing else to do." Kenshi replies, shrugging. "Can I go back to prison yet?"

"Never thought I'd hear that sentence in my life. Especially from you." Eisuke chuckles. "I just... I have some kind of duty tonight."

"Really? The chief said-" "He forgets. All the time. Where's Arisugawa?"

"I'm here." Yuki comes walking back from what looked to be an ice cream stand with a bunch of ice cream.

"Remember, I'm coming back tomorrow." Yuki reminded when they got back, but then the chief, who was by the entrance stopped him. "Not anymore. This was your last day, we have a schedule for her for the next few days."

Sakura had requested that the chief didn't say anything about the move of the execution day, and she also requested not to be taken out of the jail house for the few days before her execution.

"I... I understand. When can I pull her out for a job again?" "No more. Her task here will last until her execution time."

After turning Yuki away who tried to change their minds, Sakura was lead back to her cell as the moon began to rise. It was the third day today and tomorrow morning is her last day as her execution is on noon exactly.

"I'll be seeing you bright and early Sakura." The chief nods as he closes the door. After he was gone, Sakura lifts her pillow to see the MP3 Takuto had given her the day she had work at Tanaka Tech. a few days back.

Plugging in the earphones, Sakura lays back as she lets the music flow in her ears, reminiscing about her memories with all the boys.

Her time was running out. Fast.

But when she spent the whole day today with her friends and beloved, she felt as if everything was at a standstill the whole time they were together.

The Foxes and the bidders all stuck together that night, wanting to get some drinks. Everyone was slightly tipsy, but not full on drunk. Not yet at least.

But as leaders of their own little 'groups', Riki and Eisuke didn't drink as much, but they went for the strong stuff anyway. Rin had gone home after being driven home by Tatsuro. Yuki had gone home, but still hadn't told the others about Sakura's case.

For a moment, Riki put Atsumu in charge and he took Hiro by the arm.

The past day, the young Fox had been acting strange, as if keeping a secret from them. "Hiro, I need to speak to you."

"What's up, Rikkun?" He grins, leaning against the wall as Riki followed suit, leaning on the one across from the ginger.

"What's going on with Sakura?" he got straight to the point, keeping his eyes trained on the boy. "What do you mean, Leader?" he asks, pretending to play dumb.

"Don't play stupid, Hiro. I can tell if something's happening behind my back, me and Ichinomiya both can." he narrowed his eyes slightly.

"I really have no idea what the heck you're talking about, Rikkun." he lies again, looking at him.

"I know Sakura did something Hiro." he says with commanding eyes. "And I know you found out, either she told you, or you found out by accident. I've known you for years."

For a moment, Hiro considered spilling the beans but he remembers all the reasons Sakura gave him and he denied it once more. "I promise, I really don't know anything... I... I'll tell you the moment I find something!" he says, smiling slightly.

"Hah... This is going nowhere. Go back." he sighs, running a hand through his raven hair. Riki watches Hiro return to the party as he thinks of what possibly they could both be hiding.

He wasn't stupid. He knew when something was happening behind him, and he knew when someone was trying to hide something.

Especially when he got up in the middle of the night before and walked past Hiro's door. He heard all the muttering about Sakura and he knew instantly something was wrong, especially since he heard the worried tone and the word 'moved'.

He couldn't really blame the young man though.

Everybody has their secrets. It's just that sometimes, it could cost them something priceless.
