They made it with only a few minutes to spare before Sakura's execution and now, the Foxes and the bidders were all standing in the shadows, watching as Sakura's handcuffs and blindfold was removed, turned away from the executioner, who had a gun pressed up against the back of her head.
"Leader, what are we supposed to do?" Kenshi asks Riki calmly, awaiting further instruction as they watched painfully from afar.
"I don't know... We just rushed in here with no plan and we're clueless." the ravenette sighs, running a hand through his hair. "Our closest excuse to being here is Kishi, Arisugawa and Togoshi. But at the same time, the three don't even have a reason to be at this execution."
"Well we're running out of time!" Eisuke hisses, glaring at them momentarily, before turning his gaze back to the executioner and Sakura, who was being planted onto her knees, awaiting her death.
"Well we need to do something as well without getting ourselves killed!" Takuto growls as well, glaring at them right back. "..." Soryu was silent, and when he mutters something under his breath, everyone turns to him.
"What was that, Oh?" Kenshi asks, looking at him.
"I said I don't care if I die. I just want to make sure she's safe." he repeats, a bit louder, but still quiet. Everyone heard him, and their stone cold faces for a moment soften, before their eyes narrow again. "Well we need to-"
Then someone enters the room suddenly, and the group ducks deeper into the shadows. They heard the person's next command. "Get this execution over with. Let's just make this quick."
Their eyes widen when the executioner nods, clicking the safety lock off the gun off, finger on trigger with it aimed to the back of Sakura's head, who's head was down, eyes closed.
"No before everything, we'll make this just real quick," the chief sighs. "Sakura, would you like one last phone call to someone or one last letter to them or something?"
The girl's eyes snap open and widen for a moment, and all the Foxes and bidders panic. They had their phones with them at the moment, and they scramble to pull their phones out and put them one silent but the chief, under Sakura's request, had already pressed a phone to her ear and her call...
Well you can guess, was directed straight to Soryu.
His phone rang in the silent room and everyone's eyes widen as Soryu held the phone in his hand, just about to turn off the sounds.
"Who's there?" the chief pulls the phone away, looking towards the sound of the ringing phone. Silence. "Keep her close." the chief orders as he draws out his gun.
"I said..." he growls, "Who's there?!"
"There's no one... You're hearing things..." Sakura mutters. "I thought you said you needed to hurry up."
"...Hah," he sighs, turning back to her. "You know what? This is ridiculous. Get it over with, Junichi." he commands, and slowly puts his gun back. The bidders and Foxes watch as the three all have backs turned to them, making them so vulnerable.
"I think we have-" Riki starts but then once Sakura gets pushed back with the gun to her head once more. "We don't have time for that!" Soryu growls, trying to keep his voice down.
"Goodbye, Sakura," the chief nods with a small smirk of accomplishment.
"SHIT!" he shouts, shocking them as he runs out into the open where he shoves the chief aside, knocking the man onto his feet.
"What the hell?!" the man spits, looking up to Soryu, who froze as he saw that Sakura was back to her feet, but the executioner's arm around her neck, gun to her temple.
