I felt fresh like a huge burden was removed from my shoulders. The ring was gone and I was happier than I had ever been.

Morning Luke I messaged him.
Fondly remembering how he had saved me.

I was taking a leave from college today.

"Morning aunt" I said smiling.

"You aren't going to college?"

"Nah. Just gonna relax today"

Aunt left for her office ten minutes later.
I was home alone.
I slumped on the couch and randomly flipped channels.
I went up to my room. I spotted Luke's coat on the bedside which he had given me yesterday.
I sniffed in his scent. It was familiar. Yeah there was nothing big in that but it revoked old memories.

Mind if I drop by? I texted him.

Yeah sure a thing! We r home today

I showered and changed into a pair of washed out denims and a purple off shoulder tee. I grabbed my iPhone and Luke's coat and headed for the bus. It was going to be a long ride.
I walked to his home from the bus stop.
The security guard stopped me.

"I need to meet Luke"

"Miss everyone passing by says that" he said all business like.

Luke I'm at ur door I messaged him.

Few seconds later Luke came striding. He was wearing a blue shirt and ripped denims and his eyes merrier. I felt something melt.

"Now you see" I said said poking my tongue at the guard and smiling.
He opened the door for me.
I know it was stupid thing to do but I felt so carefree.
"What was that!" He said smiling.
"Nothing big. Just saved my intrinsic and extrinsic muscles from rusting"
He gave a startled laugh.

"You seem happy"

"Actually never felt happier"
He took me inside the house.

"Don't mind if one of the guys turns up in his boxers. You have been warned"

"Don't worry I'm shock proof"

"Thank you" I said handing him his jacket.
Calum came striding out of his room in black tee and jeans.
"Hey!" He said offering his hand.
"Hi! I'm Samaira" I said shaking his hand.
He had well sculpted body better than the pictures on the net.

"Geez! That is why girls go gaga over you" I said looking at his body.
He chuckled.
"There's more to me than being an eye candy..." he said in faux haughtiness.
It was my turn to laugh.
"I always doubted you that someday you gonna hit on Lukey's girl. Finally...you proved me right" Michael said smirking.

"Hey lovebirds" Ashton said joining us.
I blushed crimson.
"I never knew that being a girl and a friend implied being being a girlfriend" I said still blushing.

"Cal, Mikey and Ash get your butts outta here before I physically do the favours for you" Luke said.

"One against three. You sure?" Calum said smirking.

"Dumb skull. Lukey needs private time" Michael said nudging Calum.
A death glare from Luke sent them out of the room.
"Apologies for their unruly behaviour"

"Actually it's kinda cute you know.
Like a gang of wolf.."

"So would you like to watch a movie?"

"Great. How about twilight?" I asked him hopefully. It was my favourite.
We sat with a bucket of popcorn and and soda cans. But at the end of the movie both of us were covered in popcorn. We were throwing popcorns at each other while Edward romanced Bella on screen. The movie was long forgotten and we were laughing our heads off. Luke was amazing at funny lip syncing.

"I never knew you had this hidden talent!"

"Its my part time job"

My stomach grumbled.
"Ooh!"

"Come on let's see what the fridge has to offer to satiate you. No pun intended"

"You said that on purpose right?" I said grabbing the dish wash and squirting it on his tee.
He was wide eyed. I started laughing.

"You wait I'll just get you!"

With that he began chasing me.
We ran around the house laughing like 5 year olds.
He was faster than me.

"Nooo!" I squealed as he picked me up in his arms bridal style.
Automatically my hands wrapped around his neck.
The next thing I knew was we were surrounded by water in the pool.
He was still holding me.

"What did you do that for!" I asked in mock anger.

"The same thing you did this for" he said innocently pointing to the dish wash stain.
We splashed in the pool for a long time.

"Have you ever tried dancing in the water?" He asked out of nowhere.

"Nope" The idea seemed fun.

"May I have the pleasure?" He said offering his hand.
We slow danced in water.
I slid my hand to his chest moving closer to him, batting my eye lashes. His grip tightened on my waist and his body stiffened.
"What-"
Before he could complete I pushed him with all my might. He fell in the water.

"Ha! Got you!" I said staggering out of the pool.

"Fine I give up" he said coming out of the pool.

"Umm... Luke...some problem here... I'm dripping wet like a puppy and I don't have extra clothes"
I said unsure.

"Come over" he took me to his room.
He handed me a towel.

"You prefer a tee or a shirt?" He asked me walking towards his closet.
"Shirt"
He handed me a black and white checked shirt.
I inside his bathroom.
I stripped down and changed into his shirt. It was like a short dress.
I stepped out of the bathroom with all my wet clothes in hand.
I put them in a bag.
We went out of his room to find very astonished Calum, Michael and Ashton.

"Seems like you too had a wild rendezvous" Michael said staring at us.

It then hit me how it would look.
Popcorns scattered on the couch, dish wash on the floor, water pools upto Luke's room and me in his shirt.
They thought we did it.

"It's not what meets the eyes!" We both screamed at the same time.

"Great connection!" Calum smirked pointing at our intertwined hands.
We detangled them. I hadn't even noticed it before. It had felt natural, somehow.

"Come. Let's get you home" Luke said ushering me outside to his car.
