Time flys. Never before the incident I had never paid attention to time. I can feel it all, I can feel when the time changes. Each second that passes, I know. I practically am a stopwatch. I always know the time. I always know how long of something. I just know, and that's not always a good thing. But sometimes it is.
You'll never guess what the feeling feels like. I mean, I can't even describe it correctly.
It's amazing.
Then, when I slow down time, it's the best feeling when I get to see everything around me go slow. I bet it's the same way for Barry.
Being able to see everything slower than you. Being able to be the fastest. It almost makes you feel like the best.
It makes you feel powerful.

I halt to a stop as I finish my run. My breathing is harsh and my heart is beating fast. I wipe the sweat I already gathered on my forehead, off. I grab my side as I walk over next to Caitlin and Barry.
"That was fast." Caitlin says almost out of breath. I smile with satisfaction. "If it was super speed, you'd be faster then Barry." Caitlin mumbles aloud. I look at Barry and watch as his smile drops.
"Don't worry... You're still the fastest man alive." I say while I let out a laugh.
"That is true, but it's not super speed. She runs out of breath easily." Doctor Wells says.
"I'm gonna need a cooling mechanism in my suit." I say with a joking tone.
"That's a good idea!" Caitlin says in a praising tone.
"Oh." I mumble. Then we have a moment of silence.
"You two need to race." Doctor Wells says with almost a grin on his face. I tilt my head to the side, questioning his demand.
"Okay." Barry says. I look at him and frown.
"Are you serious? No objections?" I say. I raise my eyebrow at his response. He just shrugs.
"Just..." Caitlin starts, "Line up here." I follow Barry and stand next to him. I stare forward, but I feel his eyes on me. I almost glance up, but decide not to.
"Ready... Set... Go." Wells says. Then in a split second we are off. I watch as he speeds past me, and I just jog at a normal pace. I groan before I run faster and stop time.
Once I catch up to his slowed down form, I start time up again, but slower. I actually look back at him, and watch his face. His smirk he previously had, disappears. Once his smirk is fully gone, mine appears. I look ahead at the finish line, then look a bit farther.
Boulders.
I look back at Barry who is to distracted looking at his feet. He's trying to catch up to me.
"Barry!" I shout his name but he doesn't hear me. I stop time again and run next to Barry. I jump in front of him and push him away before starting time at normal speed again. He runs right into me, and I fly back. He plummets to the ground, and I skid back at least twenty feet. My head slams into the ground and I get one last glance at Barry before my vision starts to blur.
*BARRY'S P.O.V.*
In a split second I am running into Katheryn, then the next we are both falling to the ground. I look across the ground and see Katheryn look up at me.
She pushed me away from the boulders. I step up off of the ground and walk over to Katheryn. I pick her unconscious body up off of the ground, and hold her. I put one arm under her legs, and the other under her back, by her shoulders. I run back to Wells and Caitlin.
"What happened!?" Caitlin rushes over to Katheryn and I, while Wells just strolls over slowly in his wheel chair.
"She pushed Barry out of the way." Wells states plainly.
"I was too busy thinking about winning..." I trail off. I need to be more careful, and think about others.
I should know that not everything is going to be all about me.
"She did save you from some potential injuries. They could have been bad." Caitlin says walking off. "I need to talk to Cisco..."
"Barry, you need to be careful. Especially with her." Wells says.
"I'm just glad that we got her back before she decided you use her powers for bad."
"Just imagine the potential she has, and the possible abilities she can have with this... Power." Wells says walking off.
Imagine her potential.
