Soon the belgian army was pushed back all the way to the far east of the country if britain hadnt stepped in belgium would have been soundly defeated

Germany would have access to roads
Railroad tracks and tellophone lines
Germany had controlled 89% of belgium through most of the war
And committed terrible war crimes against the belgians
In one instance they slaughtered an entire town
