Chapter 37

The Morning
Meek POV

I woke at 5 in the morning and wasn't nicki in the bed I know we went to bed before her because she insisted on wrapping all the presents which was a bad idea because if you don't make nicki go to bed she won't she will stay up all night

I tiptoed down stairs everyone was sleep even Na was spent the night

I walked over to livingroom to see nicki past out on the couch

Meek: nicki (shaking her)

Nothing

Meek: baby (shaking her)

She was knocked out because I never heard nicki snore and she was loud I picked all the wrapped presents and put them back in the garage

I came back to nicki curled up on the couch

Meek: baby

She squirm in her sleep the rested again

I picked her up and started to walk up stairs until we to the bed room and like clock work I come little foot steps heading toward me and nicki room I laid nicki in the bed and the door pushed open revealing Asia in her onesie and her pacifier in her mouth

I got a Christmas show tonight and I'm taking the whole family

Asia: daddy (talking through her pacifier)

Meek: little girl what you doing up so early (picking her placing her in the bed with meek and nicki)

She didn't say a thing just laid her head on nicki stomach and closed her eyes and nicki rested her on my arm and sighed in her sleep then I closed my eyes dosing off to sleep

10:30am

Nicki: meek where you going

Meek: to this soundcheck for tonight

Nicki: oh when you going to be back

Meek: I think 5 because I need to go the studio

Nicki: OK see you later baby

Meek: everybody need to be dressed bout time I get back

Nicki: OK

I kissed her kissed her lips and left out the door

Nicki POV

Asia still in the bed sleep so I get to finish what I was doing before I felt a sleep

I put the candy canes in the yard and pull up the Christmas inflatables and now I'm finish I had meek put up the lights a while ago

Na: what you doing out here

Nicki: putting up the decorations

Na: Christmas is your favorite holiday ain't it

Nicki: yes I love putting up decorations and opening the gifts the stressful part is cleaning up 

Na: I know that why I don't do decorations because I tried that once and they didn't get taken down until easter

Nicki: oh lord that a shame (laughing)

Na: I was too damn lazy to put them up but I thought it would be cute and was too damn lazy to take them down

I walked in the house and I smelled something cooking but nothing was suppose to be in the kitchen this early everyone was sleep I think

I walked in and saw Ms. Kathy in the kitchen cooking pancakes, eggs, and bacon

Ms. Kathy: good morning y'all hungry

Nicki: uhh yea I guess

Kept cooking and everything she took out I put back

Ms. Kathy: nicki can you sit down (laughing)

Nicki: sorry I can't help it

Ms. Kathy: sit still and take a break you moving too much

Na: what we doing today

Nicki: I don't know but meek got a Christmas show today and we're suppose to go

Na: OK something missing

Nicki: yea the girls sleep

Ms. Kathy: here you go I hope you like nicki

Nicki & Na: thanks Ms. Kathy/ma

Ms. Kathy: you're welcome

We started eating our food and it was so good

Nicki: damn this good excuse my language

She laughed as I continued eating

Ms. Kathy: when you find out your pregnant

Nicki: when meek went to Miami

Ms. Kathy: oh are you excited have another baby (taking my plate)

Nicki: yea I guess

I heard the door bell go off

Na: who that

I got out my seat and went to  door

Nicki: who is it

???: delivery

Nicki: OK

I opened the door and seen a  delivery man with a dolly  fully of boxes

Delivery man: onika maraj

Nicki: that's me

Delivery man: I need you sign your signature

I sign the clipboard and he put the boxes and left

Na: what's all that

Nicki: meek Christmas stuff

Na: you going wrap this

Nicki: hell nah I'm tired of that I'm just bag it

I saw Ms. Kathy walking in to the living room holding asia

Asia: ma ma

Nicki: oh my baby (taking her outta Ms. Kathy arms)

Asia: I sleepy

Nicki: you want me to lay with you (taking her pacifier from her mouth)

Asia: ywes ma ma (laying on my shoulder)

Nicki: yes baby

Asia: my tummy hurts

Nicki: what you eat (rubbing her tummy)

Asia: daddy gave me ice cream, cookies, candy

I'm going to kick meek ass

I took her back up stairs and lay her me and meek bed then to the bathroom to get her medicine

Nicki: asia sit up baby (pull her up)

She did as told until she seen the medicine and she laid back down

Nicki: come on you got to take this if you want your stomach to stop hurting

She didn't budge she just stubborn where does she that from

Nicki: if you take it I'm tell Santa you being naughty

She slowly up and opened her mouth for the medicine to enter

Nicki: now swallow it

She did it and laid back down

I got in the bed with her and asia moved up to laid her head on my stomach and I rubbed my fingers through her curls until we both dosed off
