We was ready to eat after meek and na set the table

I started to make meek and asia plate and sat it on the table

I started to make her and na and mama kathy came in making theirs

I finally fix my plate and we all sat at the table

Mama Kathy: who going to pray

Asia: me me meeee (jumping in her high chairs

Mama Kathy: OK asia everyone bow your heads

Asia: umm god is good and god grace tank you for food amen

We all said amen trying not to laughing

Meek: asia who taught you that

Asia: na na (while nicki help her with her food)

30 minutes later

Everyone was laughing and talking except for Ms. Carol like something was on her mine

Nicki: umm carol (whispering) are you OK

She looked up and looked at meek and I turned to him

Carol: yea nicki I'm fine

Nicki: oh okay

I looked up to see meek na and carol staring at each other mama kathy just shook her head and looked down

Nicki: what up with you guys

Mama Kathy: asia you finished (looking up quickly)

Asia: ywes I full (patting her stomach)

Mama: well letting go getting you cleaned fat mama

I just giggled watching her take out the room

But everyone still got this nervous look on there and looking at everything in the room except me

Nicki: no seriously what wrong

Na:I gotta date (hopping up out her seat)

Meek: no you don't sit you agreed

Nicki: agreed to what is there something I don't know

They looked at each other saying nothing making me a little frustrated

Nicki: well when y'all staring contest come tell me

Meek: umm nic Ms. Carol has something to tell you

Nicki: OK tell me (looking at her)

Carol: nika you care for you very much (I nodding) and I only wish the best for you, and I never meant to hurt at all

Nicki: wait what you mean hurt me (starting to worry)

I looked at meek and na looking they was ready to leave

Carol: nicki I'm so sorry I left you I'm so sorry (crying)

I was confused I don't know she talking yea she left when I was 18 but she was only my mothers friend I couldn't fault her for that

Carol: onika please don't hate me but I'm your real mother

And that was all I heard

Nicki: wait excuse me

Carol: I'm your mother onika

Nicki: if this is a joke I don't find this funny at all because my mother is deceased (trying to hold back tears)

Carol: nicki that's not true I'm your biological mother see I even have your birth certificate (rambling in her purse handing it to me)

Meek POV

I watched as nicki looked at the birth certificate

Nicki: no this is fake I refuse to believe your my mother (crying)

Nicki: but if you were my mother why did you leave and let me believe my mother was deceased for so long when you could've been told me but you left (wiping her tears as fast as they came

Carol: nicki I didn't know how to tell you I'm sorry

Nicki: no sorry is when you run over someone's cat but you have a chance to explain but you didn't so keep your sorry (getting up waddling angrily away from the table)

Carol: nika (getting up following her)

Nicki: I want you out and I don't care to hear your explanation you had your chance (wiping her eyes going upstairs)

Carol still tried to follow her and I got up to stop her

Carol: need to talk to her

Meek: I think that a bad idea I don't think we need to upset her more than she aren't because that wouldn't be good for the baby I think it best if leave and probably come back tomorrow

She looked at me as if she thinking

Carol: OK (wiping her face and grabbing purse) but I really am sorry

I walked her to the door

Carol: tell nicki I'm sorry (walking out with her head down)

I didn't know what to say anymore because that shit went left fast

Na: I wasn't going to say anything but tell everyone love you and good night for me (heading out the door)

I walked upstairs to our room to see nicki I laying in the bed dressed in a t shirt on her side rubbing her stomach with her eyes closed

She didn't say anything

Meek: nicki

Nicki: meek right now I want to be alone (pulling the cover up and over her shoulder)

I sighed taking off clothes putting on some basketball shorts

I got behind her pulling her close to me and kissed her neck I'm going to leave her alone for now

Nicki pushed me back

I watched as she turned to her side to face and put her leg on top of mine then put her face in the my neck

Nicki: rihmeek

Meek: yea

Nicki: I love you

Meek: love you too baby (kissing her cheek)

We both started to dose off when I heard little foot steps making our room

Meek: it looks like we got company

I watched asia pushed our door open wearing a Minnie mouse onesie with a hood with ears

I lifted up a little bit to pick her up Nicki got back in her position while asia found her spot on my chest
