"It's anxiety," He whispered, gazing down at his shaking hands that rested against the steering wheel of his jeep.

You'd been sat outside of his house for the past ten minutes, not saying much but rather trying to get him to calm down enough so the two of you could actually walk inside.

You stared over at your boyfriend with a worried expression on your face, eyebrows drawn as you watched the tears in his eyes glisten against the moon light. It hurt you to look at him in such a state, a state that you've had to see him in far too often lately.

The sound of his heavy breathing rung through the vehicle, and you finally found yourself reaching across the centre console, taking one of his shaky hands into your own and holding it tightly.

"You okay?" You asked.

"Yeah." He mumbled, but you could tell from the tone in his voice that he wasn't. Of course he wasn't. He'd been so overwhelmed the past week or so that he found it hard to stop and take a breath sometimes.

"Are you really okay?" You tried again, and this time you could hear him take in a shaky and deep breath as he seemed to grasp onto your hand a little tighter.

"I mean, I guess not? It's just, I don't know... I haven't had much time to just sit back and relax lately, you know? With all the the new supernatural creatures turning up lately it's been hard to keep up, and I'm not like Scott or Liam or anyone with amazing abilities that helps them keep track of everything. I'm just unless, aren't I? I've got nothing but my bare hands to offer, and they can't compare to claws or fangs or super strength! I'm just stupid old Stiles."

Your heart dropped at his words, eyes somehow growing into a sadder expression as you properly turned to face him, removing your hand from his so you could place them both on the sides of his face, "Never say that again, you hear me? You are not useless. You are so important to Scott and the pack. Without you they wouldn't be the same, and you know it. As for the anxiety, that isn't something that can be taken away in a day, but I might know something that could make it a little more bearable."

His eyes locked with yours, "What is it?"

You sent him a small smile, nodding your head in the direction of the front door to his house, "Come on inside and I'll show you."

He nodded at you, and you dropped your hands down and began to climb out of the jeep as he did.

When the two of you got inside, you made Stiles wait in his room while you filled the bath with warm water and lots of bubbles. When you thought everything was perfect, you went and retrieved Stiles from his room and lead him to the bathroom where he immediately groaned at the sight of the bath.

"Really, (Y/n)? A bubble bath? This isn't gonna make me feel manly at all!"

You sighed at him, rolling your eyes as you urged him closer to the bath, "Shut up, would you? Bubbles bathes can be manly, too. Even if you don't think so, it shouldn't matter because you shouldn't be ashamed to admit that you like to have bubble bathes when your stressed."

He gave you a defeated nod, "Fine, I'll have one. But only if you get in with me."

"Of course I'm getting in with you," You giggled. "You think I'd run a bath and use my special bubble solution just so you could use it? I don't think so."

He sent you a small smile and the two of you undressed and hopped into the warm water, Stiles sitting in front of you as he leant back against your chest, head falling into the crook of your neck. You could tell by his body language that he'd already began to calm down, and the realization made you smile.

You brought your hands around to rest on his chest, hugging him to you as he let out a content sigh.

"You're kind of amazing, did you know that?"

You pressed a soft kiss to the side of his head, humming in agreement, "I know."

He glanced up at you, rolling his eyes with a smile on his face, "Really though, I'm so glad I have you. Without you I'm pretty sure I'd have gone crazy."

"Sometimes I feel as though I'd go crazy without you, so we can call it even."

He turned his head fully against your shoulder, sending you one last smile before he was leaning up, urging you to copy his actions. Of course you did, letting your head dip towards him so the two of your met in the middle, lips pressing softly against each other's.

That was how the two of you stayed until the bath water went cold, but even after then the two of you remained in the same position, wrapped up in each others own warmth and security.
