Your eyes began to droop, the picture playing on the television slowly becoming blurry as you slipped further into the feeling of sleep.

Your head fell against the back of the couch, Stiles noticing this action. He couldn't help but smile slightly at your tired figure.

"Tired?" He asks, your head tilting to the right so you could look at him.

"A bit." You mumbled, yawning.

"Shall we go to bed?" He asks, pausing the movie. "It is getting pretty late."

When you nodded with another yawn, both of you stood from your position on the couch. Stiles quickly turned off the television, soon following you up stairs to his room.

"Are you sure you're gonna be okay down there?" Stiles asked, leaning over the edge of his bed to look at you where you were laid on a mattress on his floor.

"Absolutely." You smile up at your best friend, pulling the covers up to your chin to stop any of the cool night air getting in.

"Okay..." He slowly began to fall back onto his bed before he reached over and shut off his bedside lamp.

All was silent for a while, Stiles' soft snores the only thing audible until a sudden flash of lightening startled you. Your eyes flew open, watching as the flashes of light lit up the room for the slightest moments.

When a crack of thunder rolled around, you couldn't help the slight whimper escape your lips.

"Sure you're still okay down there?" Stiles' voice suddenly asked, and you could almost picture the smirk on his lips.

"I'm fine." You mumbled, clearly lying, but not wanting to give him the satisfaction of being right. It went silent again until another clash of thunder caused you to let out a whimper, and you could hear Stiles lean over and turn his lamp back on.

"C'mon," He lifted his duvet. "Get in."

You couldn't stop the butterflies that erupted in your stomach as you pushed away your own duvet, standing up before you fell into Stiles' bed. Once he had placed half of the duvet onto you, he turned his lamp off once again.

You kept your distance, unsure how close was too close; But as you felt a strong arm snake its way around your waist, pulling you to his chest, you realized that apparently there was no such thing as too close.

"Is this okay?" He asked, his hot breath hitting the back of your neck.

"Yeah." You breathed out, pressing yourself closer to your best friend. Closer to the boy you could safely say you were in love with.
