I nodded and focused my attention towards the net, the other team parallel on the other side was still busy setting up. It was five against six which I found slightly unfair. We were against the advantage.

"Do you know how to serve?" Harry asked.

"Kinda, yeah. I know how but I'm not the best." I laughed.

"Don't over think it, just give it your best shot." Harry reassured me.

"Do you want to serve first? I mean you seem like you know what you're doing." I laughed, holding the ball out for Harry.

"Harley the pussy, I see how it is." Harry teased and I harshly threw the ball at his chest. He easily caught it with one hand and I rolled my eyes.

"Woah babe, watch that anger." He winked and I scoffed,

"Stop calling me babe." I whined and that only made Harry smirk.

"Rather not. It fits you." He laughed causing me to roll my eyes once again.

All of a sudden Harry's eyes traveled down to the base of my neck. He scrunched his eyebrows together. I knew what he was thinking but I was hoping he wouldn't say anything about it. Sadly my wish didn't come true.

"Why are you hiding your necklace?"

All of the words in my head practically disappeared and my hands reached for the chain around my neck. I kept the pendant hidden underneath my shirt though.

"I'm not," I stammered. That only caused Harry's eyebrows to raise in question.

"I didn't want it getting in the way during the game is all." I smiled, swallowing down the lump in my throat."

"Your pendent, have I seen it?" He asked, placing the volleyball under his left arm.

"No." I simply answered.

"Do you mind if I take a look, just because?" Harry shrugged.

I was about to scramble up another lie until Mikey called over to us,

"Game's starting!"

I smiled over at Harry returning a shrug and I saw his jaw clench. While switching spots with him I purposely bumped into his side, making him loose his grip on the volleyball.

"Shit." Harry cursed, running to catch up to the runaway ball.

"Sorry." I called back, biting the inside of my cheek to keep myself from breaking out in a laugh.

Harry sent me a glare once he came back with the ball I decided to piss him off further with a smile.

Harry let out a deep breath before setting up his serve. It sailed perfectly over the net, honestly much better than I could've ever done.

Harry sent me a cocky smirk and I rolled my eyes.

The opposing team reacted quickly and sent the ball back over with ease.

"I've got it!" I called, running up a bit closer so I would be right below the ball. I shut my eyes and put my hands up waiting for the contact but it never came. I peeled my eyes opened to see a rather irritated looking Harry.

His lips were in an unreadable straight line. He was about to speak but cut himself short before the words could seep from his mouth. He took in a deep breath before finally speaking,

"Just let me handle everything that comes back here for now on, okay?" His voice was deep but I could tell he was taking everything in his will to hold back from somehow offending me.

I decided it would be best not to argue so I just nodded and he nodded back, tossing the ball that sailed right over my head to the other team. I never really understood why guys got so into little meaningless games. I guess it's just the feeling of winning and the being the best that gets to their heads.

The other team's server set up his serve,

"1-0." He called before sending it over the net. Tommy sent it back over the net, only for the other team to hit it back over. It was coming straight towards me and I gave Harry a look and he gladly returned one.

"I've got it." I called, setting my hands up.

Harry started running over to me,"No, Harley I said-"

But before he could finish his body collided with mine, making us both fall to the ground and putting the other team further in the lead.

"Shit Harley." Harry growled, quickly getting to his feet.

"Sorry." I spit back, standing up and dusting my shorts off.

"What did I tell you? I told you to stay out of the way!" He seethed, stepping closer to me. He forcefully threw the ball back over the net, hitting one of the players in the stomach.

"You can't tell me what to do Harry." I shot back.

Instead of yelling back Harry let out a deep laugh,

"Watch me, babe."
