"So um, when do you want to come over then?" I asked, hesitantly biting down on my bottom lip. I still didn't think Harry completely understood what he was getting himself into. He was practically digging his own grave. If my dad greeted him with open arms I'm pretty sure i'd think I was dreaming.

"How's six sound? Not too late not too early." Harry suggested.

"That's fine." I nodded, giving him a small smile.

Harry smiled back before breaking our eye contact, his gaze meeting the wooden table.

"What class do you have next. It's strange I haven't seen you in the hallways at all today." He asked, taking another sip from my water bottle.

I took the folded up piece of paper out from my inside front pocket and scanned over it,

"World History, room D-23." I answered, reading exactly what I saw.

"Well I'm in room D-25, which is, I'm pretty sure, right next door."

"Yeah, I think it is." I smiled.

"We can walk together than." Harry winked.

I just rolled my eyes which caused him to break out into a laugh.

"But don't you find it weird that like, back in ninth and tenth grade, I don't remember seeing you once?" I asked.

"Yeah, and I don't ever remember seeing you either." Harry shrugged.

"Where did you go those last couple years? I mean besides...prison."

Harry cracked smile,

"Well, after my sentence was up, I was forced to transfer to another school district."

"Why'd they let you come back?" I asked.

"My parents complained that the drive was too long."

"Couldn't you of just taken the bus?"

"My house wasn't near any of the buses routes and none of the drivers were willing to go out of their way to pick me up." He examined.

"Oh, okay."

Harry let out a light laugh,

"You sound a little pissed that they let me come back."

"I'm not." I mumbled.

Harry raised an eyebrow at me and I sigh,

"C'mon you know I'm not, then I would've never met you."

"I know, I know I'm kidding." Harry laughed.

"I know, but I guess it was just fate that you saw me this morning." I smiled.

Harry smirked,

"Or just a bad case of misfortune."

"It is not a misfortune, some people never even find their soulmate."

"You didn't seem so keen of telling me you were my soulmate this morning." Harry shrugged, his lips still holding a smirk which told me he was just playing around. I still took it seriously.

"What? No." I stammered.

"So you're saying you didn't know we had matching pendants before the volleyball match?" Harry asked, tapping his finger on the table, waiting for my answer.

"Okay, I did. I already told you that." I sighed.

"I know, I'm just messing with you, babe." Harry chuckled.

"Well can you please stop." I whined.

"You need to loosen up." Harry spoke, a hint of amusement was evident in his voice as his hand reaching over to rest on top of mine.

I couldn't help but laugh,

"I guess it's just Layla and Anna rubbing off on me. They're always so serious."

"No, they seem like a lot of fun." Harry spoke sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

"Okay, okay, I get it, you're not too fond of my friends. Can we move on?" I laughed, pulling my hand out from underneath his.

Harry's smile grew,

"Yeah, what should I wear tonight?"

"Just anything casual I guess." I shrugged.

Harry snapped his fingers,

"Darn, I was thinking about renting a suit and tie."

I raised an eyebrow,

"You don't already own one?"

Harry shrugged, "Never really had a reason to."

I couldn't help but smile,

"Just stick with causal, but it would be interesting to see you in a suit and tie."

"Why's that?" Harry asked.

I shrugged and Harry laughed,

"You and me both know I'd look pretty damn good."

I shook my head,

"You're so full of yourself."

Harry laughed,

"Sorry, I can't help it."

Not soon later the bell rang and everyone began filing out of the crowded cafeteria. I looked over my shoulder to try and spot Layla and Anna, but their table was already cleared. They must've left earlier when my back was towards them because if not I most definitely would've run into them on the way out.

On our journey down the hallway Harry took my hand in his, immediately grabbing my attention.

"I'll meet you outside your classroom once the bell rings, and then I'll drive you home?" He asked.

"You don't have to, I can just walk, it's not that far." I reassured Harry.

"No, I insist." Harry smiled.

I absentmindedly rolled my eyes,

"Fine."
