Can you wipe away the bloody tears?
Can you save me from my agony
Can you chase away all my fears?
Can you show me joy like never before
Can you guide me towards heaven's door?
Can you show me a much brighter day
Can you show me a new path, a new way?
Can you bring back the colors of my youth
Can you paint my nights in bright vibrant hues
Can you shed the errors and show me truth?
Can you help me pay the devil all my dues?
Can you hold at bay all of my pent up anger
Can you pave my path with echoes and laughter?
Can you hold me up and make me stronger
Can you take my hand and ride till the hereafter?
