Chapter 15

~•Aphmau's POV•~
After Laurance told me to go get security I went full on panic mode. He calmed me down fairly quickly. I walked out and as soon as I was out of sight I began to sprint to the desk. I reached it and stopped.
"Keith!" I screamed. "Laurance told me to come get you ASAP we are at Kay Jewelers" I said, lowering my voice to an almost whisper. He nodded. He then talked into his walkie talkie.
"We have a code red, we need backup at Kay jewelers"
"Thank you" He said. I nodded then ran back to Kay. I heard a loud gun shot and began to sprint, not thinking about my safety only hoping Laurance is ok. I ran into the store to see Laurance falling to the ground and a woman with white hair knocked out next to him. I ran up to him, tears streaming down my face.
"LAURANCE!" I screamed. I wrapped my arms around his upper half holding him to my chest.
"Please don't leave me..." I whispered, then he went limp. He was completely knocked out.
"No. No. No. No." I said frantically shaking him trying to get him to wake up. Paramedics came and pulled me off of him. I tried to rip out of their grip and managed. They put Laurance on a stretcher and started to roll him out of the mall. I walked right next to Laurance the entire time, hoping he'll be ok. They got outside and loaded him into the ambulance. I rode inside with him. A paramedic was at the foot of the stretcher, tending to the bullet wound on his leg, trying to prevent it from bleeding. I pushed his hair out of his face with my hand, faintly smiling at him as tears fell down my face. Please be ok, Laurance. I thought. I held his hand in mine and kissed it holding it against my mouth with my hand until we got to the hospital. They unloaded Laurance's stretcher and rolled him into the hospital. I tried to follow but they told me to wait in the waiting room. I obeyed and decided to call Cadenza, considering she is Laurance's sister.

(C-Cadenza, A-Aphmau)

~•Call start•~

C-Hello?

A-Cadenza, you need to come to the hospital quick, L-Laurance was shot in the leg

*I start to uncontrollably cry*

C-WHAT?! I'm on my way. Tell Garroth and Dante. Bye.

She hung up and I sniffled. Wiping away my tears, a few still escaping my eyes. I immediately called Garroth and Dante. I called Garroth first because he is Laurance's best friend.

(G-Garroth, A-Aphmau)

~•Call Start•~

G-Hey, Aph, what's up.

A-Its Laurance... H-He's in the hospital right now h-he was shot in the leg.

G- That's horrible! I'll be right there.

A-Ok, bye Garroth.

G-Bye Aph

I hung up and immediately called Dante. He didn't answer so I called again.

(D-Dante, A-Aphmau)

~•Call Start•~

D-Aph can this wait, I'm on a date with Kawaii~Chan.

A-Laurance is in the hospital.

D-What?! Kawaii~Chan, did you hear that?

K- Yes, poor Laurance~Kun. We can cut it short Dante~kun. Right now we should see Laurance~kun.

D-We'll be right there Aphmau, see ya.

Dante ended the call and before I knew it everyone was here. The doctor came out of the room.
"May I please see Aphmau" The doctor said.
"I'm Aphmau." I said getting up and walking over to the doctor. He brought me into the hallway.
"I have good news and bad news. What do you wanna hear first?" He asked. I thought for a moment.
"Good news." I said. He smiled.
"The good news is that Laurance's bullet wound will heal in a week or two as long as it's kept clean and doesn't get infected." I smiled.
"And the bad news?" I said frowning.
"The bad news is, Laurance is in a coma due to head trama. It could take weeks for him to wake up." When he said this I covered my mouth and cried lightly.
"M-May I-I see him?" I asked. The doctor nodded and led me to a room. Laurance was laying in the bed, unconscious. I walked over to Laurance and pulled up a chair next to him. I held his hand and looked at him. The doctor walked out of the room and shut the door, giving me and Laurance some privacy. I laid my forehead on his and cried.
"I'm so sorry this happened to you Laurance..." I sobbed.
"I'm so sorry..." I whispered. I heard the door open but I just ignored it. Cadenza, Garroth, Kawaii~Chan, and Dante all walked in and huddled around Laurance. Cadenza and Kawaii~Chan were crying and Dante and Garroth fought to hold back the tears, letting a few escape their eyes.

One by one everyone began to leave. Leaving only me and Cadenza.
"You love him, don't you?" She asked. I blushed then looked at Laurance.
"So much..." I whispered still looking at him. I turned to her and she smiled. I looked back at Laurance and felt her put her hand on my shoulder.
"You should really get some sleep, Aph" she said. I looked at the clock and it was already 10:00.
"I'm not leaving him alone." I said.
"Very well." She replied "But at least try to get some sleep" I nodded and she left the room taking her things. I grabbed Laurance's hand and held it in mine. I held it against my lips as I laid my head on the bed. I tried to go to sleep but had a restless night thinking about Laurance's coma. I hope he wakes up soon. I miss him so much.
