Chapter 17

~•Aphmau's POV•~
I woke up and opened my eyes to see a sleeping Laurance. He looks so cute. I thought. I looked at the time. It was almost 8:00. I should probably let him get some more rest. I pulled the blanket off of me and went to get out of bed. Before I could get off the bed Laurance pulled me back.
"Nooo, don't leave me." He said. I giggled and kissed him on the cheek.
"I'll be right back, I'm gonna go get us breakfast" I told him. He smiled.
"Ok." He replied. I walked out of the room and went to the small cafe in the hospital. I got 2 bagels and 2 bottles of orange juice. I paid for my items and headed back to Laurance's hospital room.
"I'm back, Laurance" I said walking into the room.
"That was fast." He replied smiling. I walked over to him and sat in the chair next to him.
"Here, I brought you a bagel and orange juice" I said handing him his breakfast. He smiled at me and took his breakfast.
"Thank you, love" He said.
"Your welcome" I replied. He took a bite of his bagel and I did the same. We finished our breakfast and the doctor soon came in.
"Laurance, Aphmau, good to see both of you." He said with a grin. We both nodded and smiled.
"Its good to see you too." I said.
"Laurance may leave the hospital this morning, I just need you to fill out some paperwork." He said handing me a clipboard. I nodded and took the clip board from him. He walked out of the room.
"I'm gonna need your help with this" I said to Laurance.
"I'd assume you would" he replied, a small chuckle in his voice. Laurance scooted over in the bed and I sat down next to him. He put his arm around me and I laid my head on his shoulder. He kissed the top of my head and then I took my head of his shoulder and began to start on the paperwork. I asked Laurance to fill out certain parts because I didn't know how to. One of the questions made me blush.
"Who will be you caretaker and what is their relationship with you?" I read it outloud. Laurance blushed and scratched the back of his neck. I just wrote down my name and left the rest blank. Laurance looked sad so I kissed him on the cheek and his frown soon grew to a smile as he looked at me.
After all of the paperwork was filled out I walked to the front dest and handed it to the doctor. He nodded and said it was ok for Laurance to go home. I smiled at him and headed back to Laurance's room.
"I have some good news" I said walking into the room.
"And what is that?" He asked with his charming smile.
"You get to leave today" I replied smiling.
"With you?" He smirked.
"Yes, with me." I said with a smile.
"Good, as long as I'm with you I'll go anywhere" He said pushing himself up on the bed to a seating position. I quickly walked over to him before her got up and made him sit back down.
"Woah, woah, woah, slow down speedy." I giggled "I'm gonna go get you crutches, stay seated." I said. He rolled his eyes then smiled.
"Ok, fine mom" He smirked. I giggled.
"I'll be right back" I kissed him on the cheek and left the room. I asked the doctor for some crutches for Laurance and he showed me to a small room. I picked a pair that Laurance could use. I walked back to Laurance's room and put them in the corner of the room.
"You know I can't reach those right?" He said.
"That's why I put them there. You need to put on clothes first" I replied. He smirked.
"I don't need clothes" He chuckled.
"Laurance!" I shouted, embarrassed.
"Heh, I'm just joking" He said.
"You better be" I said, handing him his clothes.
"Thanks" He replied.
"Your welcome," I smiled. "I'll be waiting out here, call me when your done changing." I said.
"You don't have to go" Laurance smirked.
"I don't wanna see you naked" I blushed.
"Or do you?" Laurance smirked and chuckled.
"Laurance!!" I yelled at him, embarrassed. He started laughing harder.
"Don't worry love, I'm only joking" He assured. I giggled and blushed.
"Call me in when your done changing." I said heading towards the door.
"Nooo, please stay" He pleaded, his eyes growing wide as he quivered his lip. I giggled and walked over to him.
"Fine." I said with a smile and kissed him on the cheek. "But I am turning around." I added with a giggle.
"Ok, I'm fine with that" He replied. I turned around and face the wall. After a few minutes I heard a loud thump and a grunt. I immediately turned around. Laurance was on the ground in his boxers. I blushed and quickly ran over to him.
"Laurance! What happened?!" I asked helping him back onto the bed. He chuckled.
"Heh, yea, I got a little cocky and thought I could stand but um, my leg isn't fully healed and I haven't walked in a week so its probably good you got those crutches" He said scratching the back of his neck. I took his arm of the back of his neck and held his hand.
"Do you need help?" I asked with a giggle. He blushed and reluctantly nodded. I picked up his shirt and put it on him over his head. As I placed his shirt over his head my finger lightly caressed his abs. He moaned slightly and I pulled away. I raised an eyebrow and slightly tilted my head.
"D-did you just...moan?" I asked blushing. His cheeks flushed a bright shade of red.
"S-sorry, it just felt good..." He said, embarrassed. I smiled at him and handed him his pants.
"If you moaned when I touched your abs, I'm gonna let you put your own pants on" I said with a small giggle. He chuckled, embarrassed. I kissed him lightly on the lips. I pulled away and giggled. I saw him smile as he starred into my eyes.
"Now that you got your kiss, put your pants on" I said with a smile. He nodded and smiled back. I walked to the corner of the room that had Laurance's crutches. I grabbed them and turned around to see Laurance struggling to put his pants on while staying seated. I giggled and went over to try to help him. He refused my help at first but than the more he struggled the more he accepted it. Laurance put on his pants and I handed him his crutches. He walked around the room a little bit to get used to them. Once he was used to using them we left the hospital and went to my car. I helped Laurance into the passenger seat.
"This is a little degrating..." He mumbled. I looked at him and cupped his cheek with my hand.
"Don't let it bother you, by setting aside your pride and allowing me you help you makes you look stronger than anyone." I said with a smile. He smiled back.
"Thanks Aph, you always know how to make me feel better." He said with a slight chuckle.
"No problem, Laurance" I kissed him on the cheek and got into the drivers seat. I started the car and Laurance and I drove back to my house.
