Calum's POV

*NEW DAY*

I woke up at the sound of pouring rain, I looked around and found that i was alone 

'waking up to this day feels new to me. its like a brand new life for me and Luke. I can't feel the guilt or the fear anymore since what happened yesterday and it felt so fucking good' 

That thought just drew a smile on my face 

I rolled out of bed and walked to the bathroom, after doing my usual routine

i went downstairs, as i was about to go to the kitchen i stopped walking when i heard something

'All my life I've been waiting for moments to come'

Luke was singing in the kitchen while cooking some breakfast, i can smell the bacon from here

'When I catch fire and watch over you like the sun'

His voice makes my heart melt and it gives me butterflies i cant help but to smile, i missed this. i really do.

'I will fight to fix up and get things right'

I continued walking to the kitchen and find Luke cooking

facing back he's just wearing my boxers, his back muscles are showing as i noticed his figure got bigger. i tried to look away but i ended up biting my lip

'I can't change the world but maybe I'll change your min-

Before he even finished the line i wrapped my arms around his waist "hi" then i kissed his neck

"morning baby" he said chuckling

"since when did you start making breakfast huh? i always do that for you"

he didn't respond or look back he just continues to cook

i tried asking him things but he didnt respond.

"fine, you wont talk to me?" i whined, i kissed his neck all the way up to his ears and bit it softly

he lightly moaned and it made me smirk "babe you're distracting me" 

"pfft" i grinned holding his waist closer to mine

"babe stop it" Luke whined he looked back and gave me a fuck off look but i don't care i just smiled at him innocently

my stomach suddenly grumbles and i'll stop annoying him i might ending up eating burnt eggs and bacon "F..Fine" i laughed letting go of him

He sat my plate down and I started eating, and Luke doing the same thing 

The room was very silent and peaceful, only our forks scratching our plates made noise 

"How's your month?" i asked him breaking the silence, he stopped eating 

still looking down he simply said "Horrible" he cleared his throat

"Same here" i chuckled shoving my last bite in my mouth 

I stared at Luke and he simply eats his breakfast without look up, seems like something is bothering him

"Are you okay?" i asked, curiosity filled my mind seems like yesterday he was so energetic and shit but now i don't even know who am i sitting with

"Nothing its just that-" he looks up "Flashbacks" he said giving me a small smile 

I smiled back and can't help but to frown

"I'm sorry" 

"No..-" he laughed "Its okay-" he said "Now that I'm with you everything is better" biting his lip ring

i felt my cheeks heat up, hearing those words filled my stomach with butterflies

"Stop it!" i giggled looking down he just smiled and continue to eat whatever left on his plate

after he's done. he stood up and put our plates away "So hey wanna do something fun today?" 

"We could go uhm ICE SKATING OH MY GOD" I stand up getting excited 

"Woah woah calm down" He laughed while washing the dishes "Okay ice skating would be great, go get ready" he said 

"Okay" i nodded walking towards him and kissed him on the lips making him grin 

On my way upstairs i can't calm down knowing that we'll be going ice skating again, just like the old times  

.  

Arriving the mall i hurriedly walk leaving Luke and finally there it was

There were just a few maybe 15 people ice skating, showing off

I headed to the line and look for Luke who's just behind me all this time paying the cashier

I slip on my ice skating shoes and so did Luke and then we're off ice skating 

"Wo- god" Luke struggled almost slipping on the ice but I manage to catch him by holding his hand 

He let out a deep breath "Don't let me go baby" he said i laughed quietly

"Never again" i smiled then winked at him he smiled back

As we continue to skate not minding the people looking at us Luke let go of my hand and slowly moves away from me

"Look baby i can do it i can do it" he said as he slowly skate shaking a little, afraid that he might fall again. but i'll catch him over and over again no matter how many times he falls, i'll always be there to catch him, always.

"That's it" i smiled being proud at all he just looks like a little kid and i find it very adorable and i just want to attack him and give him little kisses all over his face 

"Come here" i said

"Yeah o shit" he said while he almost slip again but he manage to balance 

I spread my arms and he just looked at me and he hesitated to hug me but he did

He wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his face into my neck whispering "I love you" on my ear

i chuckled blushing and shouting "I LOVE YOU TOO LUKE HEMMINGS!" i said before i leaned in and kissed him on the lips
