Would you give up your life for mine
Or watch me while I slowly die?
I don't expect you to come over ready to give
I just want you to think. 'What if I don't live?'
I'm sorry if I hurt you
I'm sorry if I lied
I'm sorry if I didn't listen even though I've tried
But now I really need you
I really want to cry
But what good would crying do
If I'm going to die
I don't expect you to give your life
I just want you to know
I want to see your face
One more time before I go
I understand if you're not here
I get it, I really do
Just want you to know that I care
Though I was mean to you
And even though I know the result
As I drift off to sleep
I just want you to know that
