Pain
Everyone knows it hurts
It stings, it bites
It hits you where you're most fragile
It hurts you where you never knew
And laughs as it buzzes through you
Pain causes tears, change and mourning
Everyone knows what it feels like
Nobody wants it to stay
Nobody wants to feel it because they don't want to cry, or change or mourn uselessly
We all know what pain does
Then why do we take so much pleasure in giving others pain?
