Joeys POV

We were finishing the last box when we heard someone knock on the door.

"Maybe he's early. You never know with my dad."I said shrugging my shoulders

I went to get the door while Daniel taped up the last box.

I went downstairs and opened the door.......it was NOT my dad

"Hi Joey did you miss me?"he said

Oh god how is he back. He can't be back this is just a nightmare. I pinched myself to make sure.....it was all real

"How are you back?" I'm fighting so hard to hold back tears but it isn't working

"Well I got released and came to you" he said trying to sound sweet and nice

*Flashback*

Your a worthless little bitch, you can't do anything by yourself" Preston yelled as he kicked my stomach

"Preston stop please"I cried tears falling down my face

"No your fucking worthless and you need to be beaten

By this point I have bruises all over my stomach and I'm bleeding all over my body

"I'm going to go get food don't fucking move you little bitch" he said as he walked away

When I heard the door shut I got up. It hurt to move but I needed to get to the phone.

(Bold is the operator and regular is Joey)

"911 what's your emergency."

"I need help. I need the p-p-police and an a-a-ambulance. I'm bleeding all over my body because my boyfriend keeps abusing m-m-me."

"What is you phone number?"

"546-557-7367"
( not an actually number don't call or text it)

"Help is on the way would you like me to stay on the phone with you?"

"N-n-no I cant be caught on the phone by him."

I said and with that she hung up

*10 mins later*

I heard knocking at the door so I slowly but surely made my way downstairs and opened the door. The ambulance saw me and took me to the truck. Preston showed up 5 minutes later. The police walked up to me and asked

"Is that him?"

I nodded yes and they arrested him meanwhile I was taken to the hospital and treated.

*End Flashback*

"Preston please go now!!!" I yelled and I guess Daniel heard because he came rushing down stairs

"Babe what's wrong"he said

He looked up and started balling up his fists and getting angery

"What the hell are you doing here Preston!!"he yelled

"Oh Daniel don't be so harsh"he said innocently

"You two know each other?" I said

"Yes he used to be my co-worker and he would come to work every day and brag about how he's so tough because he abused his boyfriend"

Thats the moment when I walked up to Daniel and showed him the bruises and scars

"Y-y-y-you were the one he was abusing?"he said his voice cracking

I nodded my head and things turned around
