Mom stared at me, Naruto glared at the floor, and Dad walked away. "Well?" I asked. "Well what?!" The annoyed Naruto said. "Are you mad is what!" I scowled. Mom looked up at me scared. I could tell by her face, that my eyes were red. " I don't know about Mom and Dad, but I wanna punch this guy in the face!" Naruto said flustered. "Honey, we're not mad at you! We're just surprised!" Mom said tears in her eyes. 'Mom please don't cry!' I sent a thought through my special abilities to her. 'I'm sorry... I just thought it wouldn't of happened so soon.' She thought back. 'Dad? You there?' I thought again. 'Yeah.' 'You upset?' 'No. Why would I be? Stuff happens..' He said through mind communication.
I gave them all a hug. Mom rubbed my wings, while Naruto gave me a playful slap. I threw a snowball at his face. He smirked. I walked outside to go to Gaara's temporary home.
They welcomed me in and as usual Gaara and I were waiting on Temari and Kankuro. "Hey Amaranth?" "Yes Gaara?" "Will you go out with me?" I was shocked. If I said yes, I wouldn't have any nice clothes to wear. I only have rebel clothes. "If you were to say yes you wouldn't have to dress nice. In fact, you would be able to wear whatever you have. I was kinda thinking though about it being tonight..." Phew... Wait did he say tonight... And then BLUSH?! "Um... Sure... Why not?" Apparently Kankuro and Temari were spying on the whole thing. They jumped out. "YES!! WE WERE WAITING FOR YOU TWO TO DO THIS!!!" They screamed. I glared at them. What did I just get myself into?!.
