Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same.

----

My family was rich. It was a fact, and I knew I could get the girl her violin in no time.

I'm not trying to sound like a snobby rich boy or anything, and no one at school, other than my friends, knew about how much money my family has.

My mom is a successful lawyer, and my dad owned a successful million dollar company.

We lived in the rich part of town, so most of my neighbors kids went to private schools or were homeschooled.

Since no one from my school lived in my neighborhood for miles, no one knew about the money my family had. We were multimillionaires.

I drove home after I had read her journal, and wanted to talk to my parents about the mysterious girl.

I was an only child, and my loving parents were all I could ask for.  Yet sometimes, they'd annoy me for hours about finding a girlfriend or someone I could love.

I hoped they would catch on about how much I already liked this girl, so they could help.

By the time I arrived home, the sun was almost all the way set.  It was early winter, and already starting to get very cold.  I was almost positive there would be tons of snow this year.

We lived in Pennsylvania, and we were always ready for heavy snow.  My parents were already getting their chains out for their car tires last week.

As I walked into the house, my mom welcomed me with a large smile. Yet it almost immediately dropped as she saw my flushed cheeks.

She believed I was sick, and began takin me over to the couch to lay down.  I tried to tell her I was fine, but she wouldn't let me speak.

Out of annoyance, I finally said, "I met a girl."

My mom gasped and my dad came marching into my room.

"Did you say what I thought you just said son?" He yelled at me.

I nodded.

"Well?" Mom asked, "Where is she?"

"At home, but I-" I was cut off

"Corey, you better bring home the young lady as soon as possible!" Mom said.

"Well," I started, "that's what I wanted to talk to you about."

"The girl, s-shes really hurting right now.  I met her when I saved her from suicide."

My parents sucked in deep breaths.

"What happened to her?" Dad asked.

With that question asked, I started to explain everything I knew about the girl to my mom and dad.
