she didn't think much of it, just shoved her thoughts aside as she continued on with the week, desperate to escape to the weekend, even if was just two days. during that time, she tried to collect her pieces, throw them away, and start out the next week clean, ignoring the overflowing trash of her broken bits. she liked to think that if she ignored them for long enough, they would somehow disappear, or just swallow her whole and take her with them.
he kept running in her mind, however, and no matter how many times she tried to clean him from her thoughts, he was still there, tainting her thoughts.
