he stepped in front of her at the end of the day, his body separating her from her car, his eyes holding her hostage.

his words were met with silence. she wanted to punch him. she wanted to do so many things to him.

"but not yet." his words escaped his perfect lips with a smirk as he pushed himself off of her car and swaggered away, arrogance radiating off of him.
profanities swirled in her mind as she yanked the car door open, slammed it closed, and cursed herself as she screeched out of the parking lot, rolling down her window and flipping everyone off.
what a lovely world, she thought, speeding down random empty roads, the windows open and the wind clinging to her skin and tangling itself in her hair.
