in the dark, mysterious forest
came a reassuring ray of light
that shortly dissapeared, leaving her filled with sorrow in the cold, lonely nightwhat that was, she wondered
probably a missed opportunity
oh why oh why, she pondered
why was I not fast enough
such a silly one, she was
she blamed herself for not being fast enough
although she knew she wouldn't have caught it, oh what a bluffshe was exhausted, and so she took a nap
what woke her up from her slumber, was just a little tap
there came yet another flash of light
this time for much longer
though again, she couldn't move a muscle, a side effect of all the laughter
and there she goes again
blaming herself for the disasterdisheartened was she
she decided to sleep away the misery
but the voices in her head woke her from her sleep
what she saw in front of her, oh such a catastropheeverything was falling apart
just like her insides
she never knew until now
that she has nothing left to hideeverything she tried so hard to conceal
was on a silver platter
and ended up being such an ordealit was part of her nature
which nobody believed
she went out and showed them
oh how they were deceived
