Hello there! I'm going to try to write my story and since this is my first time writing fan fiction, constructive feedback is welcome! Please be honest when giving feedback!

Ah, another world meeting. France and England arguing, America stating his ideas, and then Germany screaming at everyone trying to make progress but in the end, no progress was made. This is how they always went.

Until this one.

It was a very hot day in July and the windows were open. While the countries were arguing or trying to make progress here or just sitting there, chilling out, an owl with a letter flew in and landed on the table. This caused an awkward moment of silence.

At first, they didn't know what to do, but the owl looked at them expectantly as if it was saying "Go on, open it!" And so they did.

"What does it say Angleterre?"

England started to read the letter.

Arthur,

It has been a long time since we have spoken, isn't it? I hope you don't mind, but I have a request.

Harry Potter, also known as the Boy Who Lived is starting his first year at Hogwarts. While me and the staff cannot watch him, I need you to go to Hogwarts as a student and protect him from any dangers. I need you to stay at Hogwarts until he graduates. We both know that Voldemort isn't gone yet and I need you to protect him since he is one of Voldemort's targets ever since he was a baby. Since you and Harry have different traits and would most likely get sorted into different houses, I would recommend that you bring some other nations as well. If you cannot go to Hogwarts, I understand. We will try our best to protect him and I will only ask that you find a way how Voldemort is still living since you still feel his presence.

Sincerely,

Albus Dumbledore.

Now England was conflicted. Protecting Harry Potter and tracking Voldemort down was important (and fun and adventurous, as America would put it), but at the same time, they were nations and they had their duties. Maybe he would just have the paperwork mailed to them by owl or something. And no matter how many world meetings they had, they would NEVER make any progress.

"Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has asked me to protect Harry Potter for 7 years. I have accepted his request." England announced. "This meeting is now adjourned. If anyone wants to go to Hogwarts with me, stay here so I can reply to him. Then he will send us Hogwarts acceptance letters and we will get our supplies."

Everyone left; except America, Japan, France, China, Russia, Italy, Germany, Romano, Spain, Canada, and Prussia.

After England wrote back and sent the letter back to Dumbledore, they waited for a while until the owl dropped off the acceptance letters into each nation's hand.

"Follow me," was all England said.

They followed him until they reached an unknown hallway in the world meeting place. There were candles illuminating the room from both sides. England blew on the third candlelight on the left side.

Then, the ceiling opened as if there were a secret attic and a ladder fell down. The nations climbed up and saw an old, dusty room that looked like it was used recently to do magic.

Now don't get me wrong. Any nation could use magic. During the renaissance, magic flourished all over the world until it was forgotten. There were some nations that were able to awaken their magic and use it like England, Norway, and Romania.

Anyway, the room had a big, magic circle in the middle with candles, many bookshelves aligning the walls containing books on spells, potions, and magic related things. There were mirrors and crystal balls of different sizes on one table that was like Japan's kotatsu, with fluffy violet cushions surrounding it. Another table had potion ingredients and cauldrons for making potions and behind the nations were dummies for practicing battle spells. Plus, there were quidditch posters hanging on the walls.

"Woah..." America said in awe. "Dude, where did you find this attic?"

"This attic was used for wizarding training when a nation awakens his/her magic. When the magic inside them awakens, the magic inside them is very hard to control and it is hard for them to lead their daily lives. Norway, Romania, and I have been using this room to practice our magic. Before, it was used for training soldiers magic for war. There were many wizards involved in the past wars we have had." England explained.

"Ah! So that explains why sometimes, when I'm at home, everything around me floats around and spins until I get dizzy!" Canada said.

"I do recall a situation where one time, while I was pounding mochi, it went flying around and it made a mess in my yard." Japan said.

"One time, I was making pasta while Fratello was picking tomatoes with Spain nii-chan and when they came in, the tomatoes placed themselves on the cutting board and the knife was cutting them into perfectly diced pieces! Then the spoon I was holding got out of my grasp and stirred the pasta for me!" Italy shuddered at the memory. "Although, the pasta was good!"

"So that means everyone must have experienced a time when objects were moving by themselves or something magical happened, right?"

Everyone nodded.

"Then that means your magic has awakened! We need to begin wizarding training before we go to Hogwarts so we can control it! But first, I need to transform our physical forms into children so we won't be first years as adults! Everyone step inside the circle."

"Why?" America asked.

"We need to go get our supplies first such as getting our wands! Getting our wands are very important unless you know how to do magic by hand!"

They did as he said. England went to a book shelf and grabbed a book. He flipped to a page and started chanting words from the page.

"Mrofsnart su otni nerdlihc, mrofsnart su otni nerdlihc, mrofsnart su otni nerdlihr." He chanted.

A swirl of green light surrounded each nation and they shrunk and shrunk until they were the right size for a 5 year old.

"AGH! THIS ISN'T THE RIGHT SIZE!!!" England shouted in his little voice.

"Ahh... you were so adorable back then..." France said.

"A wef sraey redlo, a wef sraey redlo, a wef sraey redlo." England chanted.

A swirl of purple light surrounded each nation and they grew a little taller until they were the right size for an 11 year old.

"That's better!" England said.

"Aiyah, I feel so small now. Even the clothes shrunk with me aru!" China said.

"After changing into casual clothes so we won't cause any attention, we can get our supplies." England said.

"And where exactly are we going to get those supplies?" Germany asked.

"Diagon Alley of course!"

So, how was that for my first chapter? If it needs any improvement, just tell me and I'll keep that in mind when writing the next chapter! Chapter 2 coming soon!
