It was me last day and no way could I go to the barn and see Vegas.
I sat in the lodge the entire time, all alone, even Eleanor wasn't inside her with me. Dejectedly I waited for my mother, hoping she'd just hurry up so I could cry into my pillow at home.
My mom finally came. I followed her outside, not even able to look up, just watching me feet as the dragged along.
Then I heard hoof beats and a familiar whinny. I looked up and gasped at what I saw...
It was Eleanor leading Vegas over to my mom's truck, which, surprisingly, had a horse trailer on the back! I dropped my bags in the front seat and ran to hug my mom.
"You bought him for me!" I squealed, and she hugged me back.
"See," she said with mock anger, "I told you you would like it here!"
I then rushed over to hug the happy Eleanor and MY Vegas! When I hugged Vegas, he wrapped his head around me like he was hugging me back.
Eleanor chuckled. "My my, you two ARE the perfect team." She said and I nodded enthuasiastically.
We loaded Vegas up- me making sure he was completly happy and totaly safe.
I finally had my dream horse!!!
