A small fall and big pain

Lotis's p.o.v

I was on a walk with Shinji as she walked Lucy. We were exploring more of Beach city. After I told Shinji about a boy that came to the Big donut everyday she wanted to "meet him." But in her definition she means hear him. We walked down the Sandy path from the Big donut and after a bit of a walk we came to a giant woman carved in the Stone of a cliff with a house in a set or two of its hands. "Well..... Looks were here." I said. "Could you lead the way up there Lucy?" Shinji asked her dog.

The fluffy white giant snowball yiped and slightly started to drag Shinji up the steps. I quickly followed behind so she would not get hurt. As I went up I felt that one of the boards was loss. 'I'll have to tell Shinji of this later.' I thought and joined Shinji at the top. Lucy barked and walked impatiently side to side. I knocked on the wood next to the screen door and a moment later a small petal pink skin boy with short curly black hair answered the door. "Hi there Steven." I said with a smile. "Your Lotus! It's nice to see that you could come over!" Steven said with a smile and stars in his eyes.

"Yep. An I brought my friend Shinji. And her dog Lucy." I said smiling sweetly. "Come on in. And it's nice to meet you Shinji." Steven said. Shinji smiled and waved. Mostly cause she was a little shy but was always happy to try and make a friend. We walked in and Shinji sat on the couch with Lucy joining her on the couch. I giggled at Lucy and leaned on the counter. "Let me get you something to drink." Steven said. "Ok. You got any tea?" I asked. "Ya. It'll take a bit but I'll get some made." Steven said with a smile getting some tea things out.

We all talked while Steven was making Tea. He even introduced us to Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst. I was really happy to meet then. Shinji was a little quiet not really knowing on what to do or say at that. Lucy was just jumping around sniffing the gems and Steven. Garnet was really calm and quiet like Shinji. I'm guessing that maybe she's shy with new people too. Pearl was kind of up tight and did not like Lucy sniffing her. Amethyst was strange. All hiped up like a two year old that ate fifty cookies and had ten sodas.

We all talked till it turned noon. "We better get going. Shinji's got to do her meditating in 30 minutes and I got to get to work in 45 minutes. I got the noon shift at the Big donut." I explained. "Alright. Come over when your able to." Steven said smiling. "Steven lets go we got to go on a mission." Garnet said. They all got on this Crystal pad thing in there house and just vanished in a beam of light. I blinked processing what happened and just walked away. And a little green gem was still in there house. Maybe a quiet observer that's shy on talking to people directly.

"Lets go Shinji." I said with a smile. "Ok." Shinji said standing up. "Mind if I walk Lucy for a bit?" I asked. "Umm.... Sure." Shinji said hesitating to give me Lucy's leash. We walked out of Steven's house and walked down the steps and I completely forgot to warn Shinji about the board. She then tripped and went tumbling down the rest of the way. "OMG! SHIINJI!" I shouted and ran next to her. Licy wined picking Shinji's side.

Shinji's p.o.v

I groaned and turned my head. My body hurt. I fixed my shades and tried to get up but I could not. I laid on the ground most of my body in pain. "It's ok Shinji. Lets get you home and I'll she what I can do." Lotus said. I nodded and felt her pick me up slinging one of my arms over her neck. She then helped me slowly make out way home.

~Time skip~

We finally made it home and Lotus gently laid me on the couch. I flinched and rolled on my side. "Don't worry Shinji. Lets see what's wro..... Dang it I'm late for work. Shinji do you think you can take the pain till I get back? I don't want to loss the job." Lotus said. I nodded not really wanting to move. "Ok i'll be back as son ad I can." Lotus said running out the door. Lucy wined pushing her head under my hand. "Thanks Lucy..... I need some company." I whispered and groaned from the pain.

Jasper's p.o.v

I heard Lotus run out of the house in a hurry. I walked out of my room and saw that Shinji was laying on the couch. 'Maybe Shinji's fast asleep. Good now I can join her.' I thought. I smirked and slowly mad my way to the couch. I placed a hand on Shinji and she stiffened up. "Ow! D-Don't touch me. It hurts." Shinji's said. I looked at Shinji's confused. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I fell and hurt my self. And I don't want to move it hurts." Shinji said. "Ummm... I'm a gem remember I'm not like you Humans." I told her. Shinji's then explained about what happens when a human gets hurt the best she could.

I nodded in understand meant. "Well.... Could I look to see where it hurts? An maybe try and help you?" I asked. "Ok.... The first aid kit is in the bathroom. It's the white box with a red plus on it." Shinji's said. I nodded and went into there bathroom ad looked under the "sink" and pulled the box from under the sink. I went back to Shinji and kneeled next to the couch next to Shinji. Lucy was sitting next to me sniffing and licked my gem. I glared at her and hugged petting her. "Where does it hurt the most?" I asked.

"My back. It really hurts." Shinji said. I nodded and placed my han on her back. Shinji flinched slightly and stiffened up. "Ummm sorry." I said. Shinji's nodded and I pulled up Shinji's top and saw a large purple bruise on her pain peach back. It was pretty big. It went close to her shoulder blades and down to her waist. 'Wow that's big...... Now what do I have to use for this?' I though looking in the first aid kit. I read everything that had a label to read. I found ointment and bandages. I rubbed the ointment to help with the pain for Shinji.

I was being careful cause she grabbed onto the couch cushions. Shinji's was in pain as I finished up. I grabbed the bandages and wrapped up the bruise. I then pulled Shinji's top down and looked at her. "Thanks Jasper...... Your pretty great." Shinji said. Lucy barked and licked my cheek. "Lucy really likes you." Shinji's said. "Ya she does." I said petting Lucy. "Jasper you know the kiss you gave me on valentines day?" Shinji's asked. "Ya how could I forget?" I asked smirking. "I've been meaning to tell you that I've also got feelings for you..... And your great." Shinji said with a small smile.

I smirked and softly grabbed Shinji's smaller hand in my huge hand. "Well your great too." I said with a smile. Shinji placed a hand on my face and slowly sat up to face me. I smirked and kissed Shinji on the lips and pulled back after a moment. Shinji blushed and smiled. I smirked and laid Shini back down. "You should rest." I said. Shinji's nodded and smiled.
